I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.

For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.

I am well-placed to provide tuition at 11 and 13+, as well as English Language, English Literature and RE GCSE, A-Level and degree-level tuition. I am also up-to-date on examination syllabi and the requirements needed for achieving top marks.

I have tutoring experience in GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, GCSE Religious Studies and Oxbridge Classics admissions. I also mentor students in application for Oxbridge Classics, as I changed degrees in my third year, and assisted a student in her successful entrance to Oxford for Classics via personal statement, interview/test advice and general information about the course and university life. Therefore, I am available to support Oxbridge Classics admissions.

Hi! My name is Roheena and I’ve just finished my degree in PPE at Merton College, Oxford. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, volunteering with charities I care about and learning new languages (currently working on my Mandarin).

Throughout my studies I, like most people, have had ups and downs, but I’m a firm believer that if you are willing to stick at something, it will work out, whatever your goal is. For me, my goal was nine level nines at GCSE and going to Oxford; I’m pleased to say I’ve had a wonderful time doing both. While I don’t yet know what your goals are, I’m keen to be with you as you work towards achieving them!

Pre-warning: I have a very cute (I promise!) cat called Winter who I love very much. I cannot promise she won’t feature in the background of a video camera if given sufficient opportunity. I can promise you will have all of my attention, however jealous she may be.

Hello! My name is Gee Ren and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Political Theory at LSE. I also studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford as an undergraduate. With experience tutoring for the TSA admissions test, guiding personal statement development across various subjects, and conducting mock tutorials, I’m keen on supporting ambitious students in their university applications. At Oxford, I edited several student publications, sharpening my eye for effective, clear writing — a skill I bring to each tutoring session. I also provide guidance for Oxbridge interview preparation and specialised support for university-level philosophy and politics students. My goal is to help students strengthen their academic skills but build confidence and critical thinking abilities. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals!

    Hello!

My name is Yusuf, and I’m going into my second year studying Medicine at Oxford University. I’m very grateful for all the help I received when navigating university applications, and would love to repay this. The application process with its exams, preparatory reading, personal statement writing, and interviews are still very fresh in my mind. Though I am attending Oxford University, I also received offers from UCL, KCL, and Bristol meaning I am experienced in a variety of interview styles and exams. In the UCAT I scored 3280, and in the BMAT 19.7A ( a top 2% score).

I took quite a unique path to medical school, having first applied and received offers for PPE, I then decided to take a gap year and applied for Medicine. This taught me how to use any set of circumstances and experiences to my advantage. All of you will have your own experiences, circumstances, quirks, and interests, and as I did in my application, I would love to work alongside you to capitalise on these things and make your application stand out.
