As an experienced science tutor for GCSE and A-Level, I bring a proven track record of exceptional results and a deep understanding of what students need to succeed. Having personally navigated the 11 Plus, GCSEs and A-levels and supported students through it, I understand the process and the pressure that these exams can bring. I know how to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and support a student not only through their learning but also stress they may feel in the build-up to these exams. My lessons are tailored to each individual, building confidence and inspiring curiosity, whether tackling tricky exam questions or mastering scientific principles. I am passionate about helping every student unlock their full potential and believe every student should have a shot at performing to their highest ability to achieve outstanding results.

Hello everyone! My name is Megan and I am a friendly, motivating and fun tutor with over 10 years experience in the teaching field making me an oldie now, but a goodie!

My biggest passion in life is helping others grow in confidence, to enable them to see their potential and achieve their goals. I will do everything I can in my power to help you achieve. We will work together as a team and together, with a little nudge from me, we will make sure you can succeed. It might not happen over night, but we will find a way to get there together.

I have a background rooted in the creative and vocational sectors, but I also have a lot of transferrable skills and I have taught over a wide variety of academic subjects too. I specialise in Creative Writing and Art & Design, and I bring a hands-on, student-centred approach to every session.

I’m also experienced in teaching a wide range of subjects including Citizenship, PSHE, Health & Social Care, Childcare, Physical Education, and Travel & Tourism. On top of that, I’m highly skilled in delivering Employability Skills/ Work Experience—perfect for learners who are preparing for the next steps in their education or career.

I pride myself on being approachable, patient, and adaptable. My goal is to create a relaxed, supportive learning environment where learners feel heard, valued, and motivated to achieve their full potential. No question is a “stupid question”, so please always ask.

Hi I am Simone. I have been a secondary school teacher since 2012 and have worked in the state and private sectors, both in the UK and internationally. I have taught a wide range of subjects and have a strong understanding of current GCSE and A-Level specifications.

My broad teaching background and deep knowledge of how students learn allow me to tailor lessons to meet individual needs, build confidence, and support excellent academic progress.

I am a first-year student at University College London (UCL), currently pursuing my undergraduate studies. Having thoroughly enjoyed my academic journey throughout GCSEs and A-Levels, I developed a strong passion for subjects including Economics, English Literature, History of Art, and Geography. My positive experiences during secondary school, shaped by engaging teaching methods and stimulating course content, have inspired me to share my enthusiasm for learning with others.Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis, visiting art galleries, and spending time with friends, activities which complement my academic interests and broaden my perspective. Spending time in London has allowed me to come into contact with many cultures and experiences that have shaped my education, understanding, and a general broader knowledge of the world.
