Hi! My name is Minhaj and I love tutoring. I am a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge with a master’s degree in engineering. I have quite a lot of experience when it comes to tutoring and mentoring students of all age groups in mainly STEM subjects. I have achieved 11A*s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A Level (in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry) so you can be confident in having me as your tutor for explaining even the most difficult content and helping you prepare well for exams!

My main academic interests lie within STEM areas, primarily maths and physics. This is why I chose to pursue engineering at university since it embodies both of these subjects with real-life applicable contexts. I did many super curricular activities throughout my academy journey including UKMT maths challenges (achieved GOLD twice) and attending the Isaac Physics Summer School at the University of Cambridge in Corpus Christi College (only 40 students were invited nationally).

I have experience in tutoring students from primary school all the way to students doing their A Levels (or equivalent). I also have experience in mentoring students for their university applications in STEM subjects including Oxbridge applicants. My primary area of focus for mentoring university applicants would be engineering applicants for Oxbridge & Imperial. But I am also looking to mentor students in other STEM areas such as physics, maths & computer science since the interviews and admissions test preparation often takes a similar journey. I am familiar with all the major UK STEM admissions test including the ESAT, ENGAA, NSAA, MAT, PAT and TMUA (I practised with these myself for my admissions test) so I would be willing to help students prepare for these. I currently mentor and tutor many students for STEM applications to top universities including Oxbridge and Imperial College London. I help students with all aspects of their application including helping with writing personal statements and preparing for admissions tests as well as interviews.

Hi, I’m Fran! I am a postgraduate student at UCL, studying for MSc Science Technology and Society, which I hope to finish in 2024. In 2022, I graduated with a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in Materials Science in my final year. I’m super passionate about science, and love science communication and policy-making. In my spare time, I enjoy rock-climbing, reading, board games, and music.
I have been tutoring privately for around 5 years now, and I love it! I enjoy spreading my passion for science and love discussing new and interesting topics and issues in science with my students. Having achieved 44 points at IB, top grades at GCSE, and ranked top 5 of my cohort each year, I have the academic capabilities to assist your application but, its no secret a medical application is far more than this! My 4 offers from the University of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Nottingham and Bristol, shows that I also have the soft skills and insights into clinical knowledge that really stand out in personal statements and interview in application for the medical disciplines! I will specialise in Pathology, but have taken physiology, neurobiology and chemistry at degree level too. I’m Amy and I’m a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge. I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics in my first year at university before going on to specialise in Physics. Biophysics is my passion and I’m applying for PhDs starting in 2022 – until then, I’m keen to spend my time teaching and engaging with students in science and maths! I enjoy teaching and have excellent communication skills that I aim to use providing tailored tutoring sessions to help students.
