My name is Sahar and I am a third year medical student at UCL.
I achieved top grades for my GCSEs and A-levels, receiving A**/9 – A/7 in all my subjects, including level 9s in Chemistry, Physics and Maths GCSEs and an A* in A-level Maths.

I have also received awards at school for my performance in some of these subjects, including a mathematics award given to one KS3 student per year, as well as certificates for participating in the annual UK maths and biology challenges.

My favourite subjects at school were biology and maths, as I enjoyed solving problems by working with numbers, and learning interesting concepts about the human body. Hence I would love to share my love for these subjects with other students through tutoring!

Hi! My name is Anna, I’ve just finished my first year of medicine at Peninsula Medical school (Plymouth). About me academically: I applied to Exeter, Plymouth, Liverpool and Cardiff in my A level year for a deferred entry, receiving interviews from 3 of these, and an offer from Plymouth. I took the UCAT in the summer of year 12, getting a score of 2800 (in the upper 8th percentile of candidates for that year). During my A levels, I took biology, chemistry and maths, getting A*AA respectively. Me outside of academics (the most important!): I am a keen hockey player and musician, balancing these alongside my medical school application and now medical school itself, and I really advocate for being able to continue these things throughout, it’s really important to have something you enjoy at the same time (and great for your PS!) So far at university, I have passed every exam within the top half of my year group, and I have found some really effective study techniques that work for me and also a lot of my friends, so if you ever have any questions about life after starting university, I am always hear to help! I am a driven, ambitious and enthusiastic tutor and medical student at top Russell Group University in London.
