I’m a second-year medical student with a previous Ivy League education in Neuroscience, experience with the IB, MCAT, and IMAT exams, and experience with a broad range of curricula and tutoring contexts. I’m originally from Riga, Latvia, lived in the US for 6 years, and now, based in Rome, Italy, I’m pursuing medical studies.

My name is Kathryn and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Canada and went on to complete my Master’s in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences also at Queen’s. My Master’s focused on cardiovascular research, which is a field that I will continue to pursue as an academic doctor as part of the Cambridge Academic Foundation Programme. In the 2024 UCAT sitting, I achieved a score within the top 2% of all test-takers. Additionally, I have professional experience writing UCAT practice questions for multiple educational organisations, further refining my insight into the skills and strategies required for success.
