I hold an Upper Second Class Honours in my Master’s degree in Pharmacy and have been working in various pharmacy settings since the age of 19. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience across both NHS and private healthcare sectors, including placements and roles in general practice, hospital pharmacy, and community settings. This diverse exposure has enabled me to develop a broad, flexible, and adaptable skill set, while significantly strengthening my clinical knowledge. Working in multidisciplinary teams and caring for patients from a range of backgrounds has also enhanced my communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Hi there! My name is Grace. In 2023, I finished a French Literature MSt at Keble College, Oxford, for which I received a Distinction. I also completed a History and French BA for my undergraduate at Somerville College, Oxford and got a First Class. I’ve been tutoring for seven years now so I have lots of experience, and I really enjoy being able to help students wherever I can. Throughout my time in education, I always put my academic studies first, and I know how important it is to do your best in exams; I find it extremely rewarding when I can help students to achieve this. Having got all A*s in GCSE and A-Level, and successfully passed through Oxford’s rigorous admissions process, I know first-hand what is required to do well at all of these stages. Hi my name is Nadia and I am a medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). I am currently intercalating at Imperial College London studying Surgical Design, Technology, and Innovation.

I have been a university student for the past seven years, so I understand how stressful and challenging exams can be. I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable to learn and work towards your goals. My approach is to adapt the learning style to the student to optimize their understanding and performance.

In terms of my academic background, I have experience with studying A-levels (biology, chemistry and physics), an undergraduate degree and masters (Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) and MSc).

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also volunteer within the community as a first aider with St John’s ambulance. Alongside medical school, I also work as a phlebotomist.

I recently graduated with a Masters in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford in June 2023 after having completed my Bachelors in History from Oxford in June 2022. At university, I was involved with various student societies, most recently having completed my term as Editor-in-Chief of the Oxford Review of Books. Currently on a gap year, I am looking forward to tutoring students interested in academic study at Oxford or Cambridge, with a particular focus on the Humanities. I would love to hear from students who require extra help with school or academic work. Equally, I would be happy to provide ‘liberal arts’ tutoring for students interested in the Humanities that goes beyond the limits of a school curriculum and introduces them to the vast diversity of subjects and skills that the Humanities has to offer. This knowledge can be especially useful for students while writing EPQs or other forms of coursework as well as providing a good foundation before embarking on undergraduate study.

My name is Lizzie (she/her) and I am currently a final-year law student at the University of Cambridge (Queens’ College). I began tutoring four years ago as an A Level student and was consistently credited by tutees for my ability both to present complex information in an accessible form and to personalise my tutoring style. I have a superb academic record, achieving ten Grade 9s at GCSE, placing me at the top of the country, as well as three A Stars at A Level in English Literature, Economics and History. My academic success comes not from pure natural ability but from my diligence and determination, traits which put me in an ideal position to support tutees of all abilities with an approach based on harnessing their potential.

A strong belief of mine is that everyone can achieve their goals with the right direction, which inspired me to pursue tutoring at University. These experiences honed my extensive knowledge of the admissions process and motivated me to begin sharing my expertise with tutees aiming to study law at Oxbridge. My excellence as a tutor is evident in the consistent success of my tutees in securing their top University choices, through a learning plan consisting of a mixture of legal workshops, analysis of legal texts, mock interviews and personal branding sessions, each designed to enhance the student’s confidence. Furthermore, I am an expert at supporting students in their LNAT preparation, having worked as one of the authors of an online LNAT resource platform.
