Hi there! My name is Grace. In 2023, I finished a French Literature MSt at Keble College, Oxford, for which I received a Distinction. I also completed a History and French BA for my undergraduate at Somerville College, Oxford and got a First Class. I’ve been tutoring for seven years now so I have lots of experience, and I really enjoy being able to help students wherever I can. Throughout my time in education, I always put my academic studies first, and I know how important it is to do your best in exams; I find it extremely rewarding when I can help students to achieve this. Having got all A*s in GCSE and A-Level, and successfully passed through Oxford’s rigorous admissions process, I know first-hand what is required to do well at all of these stages. Hi 👋 I’m Kara, a History and Politics graduate from Brasenose college, Oxford! I am super passionate about all things History and Politics as well as International Relations, English literature and Economics. I am available to help students with a wide range of challenges, from Economics A-level to achieving full marks in an EPQ. Outside of studying, I enjoy travelling, reading fiction and all types of exercise, especially the gym and I am a firm believer in having a great work life balance. After studying independently for many months during the pandemic and missing GCSEs, I am in a unique position to understand the mental stress placed on high achieving students who have missed large parts of their education; as your tutor I will do everything I can to support you academically and emotionally. My name is Emma, and I am a medical student at Newcastle University studying the university’s four-year accelerated course for graduates.

My career path has not been conventional. After completing my A-levels, I took a seven-year hiatus from education due to illness. I subsequently trained as a nurse and am now pursuing a career as a doctor. This unconventional path has provided me with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the NHS, the patient’s experiences, and a medical professional’s responsibilities. I am eager to share this knowledge and assist others in achieving their medical goals.

The application process for medicine is complex, but I want to support you, with your specific needs, through the UCAT and interview process to present the strongest application which also reflects who you are.

Julia studies Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick (UK) and completed a study abroad year in Tinghua University (China). She achieved 44 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma whilst engaging in a range of extracurriculars. She is currently an active member in a range of academic, social and cultural societies and sports clubs.

Julia previously held the positions of: Vice President of Warwick Association of British and Chinese University student, President of the Warwick First Aid Society and Unit Manager of the Warwick University Unit with St John’s Ambulance.

I have been tutoring students across all disciplines of law and differing levels; A-Level, CILEX, LLB, LLM, LPC and GDL and now the SQE. I can offer other subjects which are listed on my profile as I have experience within these. I have experience teaching A-Level Law directly into schools, so I am familiar with the exam boards, teaching methods and materials. I am also offering a pre-recorded package of A-Level law lessons. These will be charged at rates less than my hourly rate. These do not have to include ongoing tutoring and will just be lectures that my students have found helpful. They then do have weekly support with me. My students who have taken up this option have found it particularly useful for year 12 students whose teaching was interrupted by Covid. The lectures cover the whole of the A-Level syllabus. For an additional fee, as a package, if you still do not want tutoring lessons, I can provide you with questions to answer and return them to me to mark for you too. I am in the process of creating a group mini-series of lessons as an ‘Introduction to Law. It will cover the foundations of the legal system and introduce you to law and technology, law and morality and law and society. This can be carried out as group lessons (reduced hourly rate) and also as 1:1 support.

For students who enjoy extracurricular – I will be starting a mini-debate/moot club which will be group sessions, and we can debate a different topic each week or have a mini-moot. If you are interested in this, please do let me know.

I also offer group and 1:1 lessons on OSCOLA referencing and research using LexisNexis. (I can do Westlaw too, but I personally prefer LexisNexis), if this is something you are interested in, then do let me know.

I also provide a proofreading service for essays, coursework, dissertations etc. I can also offer guidance on how to structure the essay ahead of writing it, so there is a starting point that will help you obtain the best possible grade and not involve a re-write after proofreading.

There are different levels of packages available, which are dependant on; word count and turnaround time. All prices include a video call to go through any feedback afterwards. All documents will be returned using a track changes document. Discounts for students already receiving tutoring, multiple essays, or return on the same essay following feedback will apply. Hi my name is Nadia and I am a medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). I am currently intercalating at Imperial College London studying Surgical Design, Technology, and Innovation.

I have been a university student for the past seven years, so I understand how stressful and challenging exams can be. I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable to learn and work towards your goals. My approach is to adapt the learning style to the student to optimize their understanding and performance.

In terms of my academic background, I have experience with studying A-levels (biology, chemistry and physics), an undergraduate degree and masters (Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) and MSc).

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also volunteer within the community as a first aider with St John’s ambulance. Alongside medical school, I also work as a phlebotomist.

I recently graduated with a Masters in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford in June 2023 after having completed my Bachelors in History from Oxford in June 2022. At university, I was involved with various student societies, most recently having completed my term as Editor-in-Chief of the Oxford Review of Books. Currently on a gap year, I am looking forward to tutoring students interested in academic study at Oxford or Cambridge, with a particular focus on the Humanities. I would love to hear from students who require extra help with school or academic work. Equally, I would be happy to provide ‘liberal arts’ tutoring for students interested in the Humanities that goes beyond the limits of a school curriculum and introduces them to the vast diversity of subjects and skills that the Humanities has to offer. This knowledge can be especially useful for students while writing EPQs or other forms of coursework as well as providing a good foundation before embarking on undergraduate study.
