As a current PhD student in English at the University of Cambridge, with a solid academic background including a BA in Comparative Literature from QMUL and a Mst in English Literature (1830-1914), I am thrilled to offer my expertise and guidance in English language and literature, creative writing, Italian, and essay skills, as well as help with university admissions.
I am bilingual, fluent in Italian and English, and since 2016, I have been tutoring students aged 10 to 19 in various subjects. Notably, I have assisted four students in securing MSt/MPhil offers from Oxbridge in humanities subjects and supported many others in gaining admission to prestigious institutions within the Russell Group.
My tutoring style is characterised by enthusiasm, organisation, and adaptability to your specific needs. I believe in fostering a comfortable learning environment where questions are encouraged. Having navigated the application processes myself, I understand the importance of tailored support for personal statements and interview preparation.

I am a Masters University graduate who holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education whose specialties are in English and History. I teach secondary level students right up to post graduates. My areas of specialty are focused on anything related to English, be it language, literature or linguistics. I have over 3 years’ of experience in the education filed and can proudly attest to how well the students I’ve taught and tutored in the past have passed the subjects I’ve taught. I make sure that I cater to the needs of my student and tailor my lessons around their individual needs and capabilities. I am an avid believer of learner focused teaching in order to hear the views of the student. I am quite friendly and at the same time I also can be firm so that all objectives will be achieved in order for the student to grasp concepts and pass with excellent grades at the end of the day.

From 2019-2021, I worked as a tutor and summer camp coordinator with the School of Irish Archaeology, where I designed and delivered lesson and activity plans for young learners, ages 6-12. Furthermore, for the last three years I have been appointed as an Examiner with the Irish State Examinations Commissions, correcting State language exams, writing reports, and providing feedback on marking schemes. Additionally, from my work in the private sector, I have experience designing and providing system training to business clients. Finally, since achieving my CELTA qualification, I have been designing lessons
and offering ESL tuition.

I can offer both pre-designed classes covering a range of topic and approaches to language learning, but can also provided lessons tailored specifically to an an individual’s needs.

Hello, I’m Vaneeza, and I’m excited to help your child excel in English, Law, History, Philosophy, or Spanish from GCSE to A-Level. I am a finalist studying Law at Cambridge and achieved 3 A*s at A-Level, so I know firsthand what it takes to succeed in these subjects. I hope to make essay-based subjects more engaging, by drawing on broader questions and honing in on what makes excellent analysis.
Coming from a state school and being the first generation at university, I understand the challenges students face when working towards their futures and how to overcome them. My track record of helping students achieve remarkable success speaks to the effectiveness of my methods. I believe that fostering the right mindset is key to academic success, so by creating a positive and encouraging environment, I help students build confidence and develop a genuine love for thinking critically and showing that passion in their essays. When I’m not studying myself, I am usually at the gym or sewing away!
