My name is Dara and I’m a 3rd Year Medical Student at the University of Southampton. Education is something I love and commit a lot of time and effort towards, but I also love help making change. I am enthusiastic about tutoring and helping other students thrive and reach their academic goals, whatever that may be! Whether it’s getting into Medicine, or University, or passing their Math’s GCSE, I hope I can help in any way! Outside of school I have a lot of other passions and hobbies, I love to keep fit and run, but also play sports such as Football. Hi, my name is Lewis! I am currently studying in the UK’s highest ranked University for Computer Science, (Heriot-Watt University) and I share a passion for learning and educating others. From a young age I have always been interested in electronic devices, when I was 14 I taught myself the computer languages C and C++ and from that time I have since excelled at school and entered my dream University. I have faced some challenges in my life, including being an unpaid carer for my my two younger brothers who both have autism, however caring for them over my life has greatly aided in my communication skills and built resilience in tough situations. When I was attending high school I was recognised for my high proficiency in both English and Computer Science, an unusual combination which has greatly aided in my ability to teach others on the subject I am most enthusiastic about.

Hello everyone! My name is Megan and I am a friendly, motivating and fun tutor with over 10 years experience in the teaching field making me an oldie now, but a goodie!

My biggest passion in life is helping others grow in confidence, to enable them to see their potential and achieve their goals. I will do everything I can in my power to help you achieve. We will work together as a team and together, with a little nudge from me, we will make sure you can succeed. It might not happen over night, but we will find a way to get there together.

I have a background rooted in the creative and vocational sectors, but I also have a lot of transferrable skills and I have taught over a wide variety of academic subjects too. I specialise in Creative Writing and Art & Design, and I bring a hands-on, student-centred approach to every session.

I’m also experienced in teaching a wide range of subjects including Citizenship, PSHE, Health & Social Care, Childcare, Physical Education, and Travel & Tourism. On top of that, I’m highly skilled in delivering Employability Skills/ Work Experience—perfect for learners who are preparing for the next steps in their education or career.
