Hi there! My name is Hafsa and I’m a dentist graduated from The University of Manchester in 2024. After successfuly receiving interviews at all 3 dental schools I applied to, and receiving offers from 2 of them I have a lot of experience I can share to complete a successful and eye-catching application.The personal statement being what sells you on paper and your personal traits being what sells you at your interview. There is so much that is being considered. After experiencing both panel and MMI interviews I have lots of key tips and advice I wish someone told me when I was applying. From volunteering, to personal statements to interview tricks, I can be your support throughout the process. I’m a fourth-year Dentistry student studying at Trinity College Dublin. In my free time, I find joy in both running and swimming. I’ve been fortunate to receive offers from all four of my preferred universities in the UK, namely Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff, and Liverpool. My academic achievements include securing A*A*A at A-levels, and I achieved a UCAT score of 2680. Hailing from Northern Ireland, my lifelong aspiration to become a dentist has been deeply rooted in my unwavering passion for healthcare. From an early age, I’ve been captivated by the profound impact healthcare professionals have on people’s lives, and dentistry, in particular, has held a special place in my heart. The opportunity to combine scientific knowledge with hands-on patient care has been a driving force behind my academic journey. I’m Simran and I’m a first year medical student at the University of Liverpool. I achieved 3/4 medical school offers at Bart’s, Liverpool and Leicester. Hi! My name is Lavanya and I’m a fourth year Dental Surgery student at University of Leeds. Having had experience with online tutoring during my dental application process, I can appreciate how beneficial it can be to have someone there to answer any questions or worries. After going through the application process, there are many things i would have done differently and also advice and tips that i can share that helped me a huge amount. I’m passionate about teaching maths, biology, chemistry, as i achieved 989 at GCSE and AAA at A level, as well as UCAT, BMAT and helping with Dental interviews and Personal statements. I’m excited to share my insight into online interviews and tests and help students along the way with advice on how to manage all of these commitments with revision and hobbies etc.

I am currently in BDS4 at UCLan, enrolled onto the Graduate Entry Dentistry course. My previous degree was in Biomedical Sciences alongside a placement year at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, (awarded first class honours). I received offers from all 3 dentistry interviews I attended and have sound experience/ knowledge on how to best prepare for interviews. During my application process I came to realise how important it is to focus on specific areas of your application to increase your chances of success- I will help you do this during our tutoring sessions.
Outside of uni I am a keen long distance runner and love going to the gym (helps cope with stress!).

My name is Siddeeqah.
Currently, I am a second year dental student.
I recently completed my A levels in biology chemistry and maths. I then decided to go along the science route and pursue a career in dentistry.
I chose dentistry for a number of different reasons. Dentistry is a fulfilling career as it will allow me to actively improve the oral health of my patients which will be very rewarding. Dentistry is also a multi faceted career which combines many different skills such as problem solving, manual dexterity, good communication as well as time management which is quite appealing. It also provides a good work life balance and there is always the opportunity to further specialise into your chosen field of study.
My interest in science stems from secondary school. I enjoyed biology the most since I was intrigued to learn about the inner workings of the human body. I progressed and studied biology at a level to further develop my knowledge and currently, at university I study anatomy and histology which are both branches of biology.
I also really enjoyed maths throughout secondary school and college. My favourite part of maths was trigonometry at a level. I liked the challenge of solving difficult equations. Maths allowed me to develop transferable skills such as problem solving and thinking analytically and critically which will also be required of me as a dentist in the future.

Hi there! I am Ahmad- a 2nd year medical student at the University of Leicester.

I did my medical school interviews and admissions tests 2 years ago, so the struggle of applying to medical school, as well as the hidden tips are still fresh in my mind!

Through my personal experience, I understood how difficult it can be to balance A-levels and applying for medical school. After going through the process myself and seeing other friends also go through the process and succeed, I believe that I can help you get into the medical school.

I have personally met many students who have amazing grades for medicine and have the passion to succeed too, but are not able to show this on paper and at interview. Through my UCAT, BMAT, personal statement, and interview preparation tutorials, I will ensure that you present the best version of yourself to medical schools and succeed in getting those offers.

Hi, I’m Arav and I’m a 5th year dental student at the University of Sheffield. I’m passionate about teaching, and appreciate the importance of support for younger students having had tutoring myself in school to get through to dental school. I feel I am well equipped to tutor, and have done so in the past for both A-Levels and GCSEs. I achieved 9A* at GCSE and 3A*s and an A in A Level in economics, biology, chemistry and maths. I would love to also tutor for the UKCAT (in which I achieved 782.5), and would encourage students to follow similar processes which I did to achieve the top decile. I would also love to give support with personal statements and interviews, having had 4/4 interviews and got 3 places. I appreciate that schools often don’t give much guidance, and I feel well placed to provide this. I have already tutored a number of students for interviews this year, and am looking forward to continuing with this.
I would also love to tutor young dental students having achieved above 70% in all written exams so far. Apart from dentistry, I am really into sports and play rugby, football and cricket, and also play the piano and saxophone to a high level. Thanks for reading
