Hi I’m Asvitha. I am going into my first year at Cardiff University to study Dentistry. I have previously completed a degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Portsmouth. I have always wanted to become a dentist and from applying to dentistry second time I was able to get into dental school. I have an outgoing and funny personality so I am approachable for anyone. I enjoy spending time with family as well as outdoor activities. I like to have an active lifestyle to ensure I have a balanced life. It’s important when studying demanding courses like dentistry, having a balanced lifestyle can help with stress. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience for students studying GCSE and A-Level. I have tutored students for English Maths and Science with all my previous students obtaining grades over 7 and above.

I am a confident driven individual, with a friendly personality which enables me to work well with individuals of all ages. My patience as well as willingness to help students has enabled me to ensure students understand tricky concepts and be able to replicate this understanding in exams to achieve top grades. I have tutored many students of all age groups, from KS1 all the way up to GCSE in Maths and science, including 11+, for the past 5 years.

I am currently a dental student at Kings College London. I am much aware of how difficult it is to gain a place at medical and dental schools with many loopholes such as admission exams, personal statement, work experience, interviews as well as A levels! My experience of working with admission tutors on interview panels has given me insight into this process and what they are looking for. As a result, I have successfully mentored many students through each step allowing them to gain places on competitive courses such as medicine and dentistry at Russell Group universities.

I have secured an offer to study postgraduate dentistry, where I had to sit the UCAT exam (I scored 800 on AR and a total score of 2820, Band 2)and therefore I can help you understand the framework on how to achieve your potential in this exam. Im socially confident and can tailor education to students if all backgrounds. Apart from education I am very outgoing and can form good rapport with people, making sure they are able to have trust in their tutor, in order to help them. My name is Siddeeqah.
Currently, I am a second year dental student.
I recently completed my A levels in biology chemistry and maths. I then decided to go along the science route and pursue a career in dentistry.
I chose dentistry for a number of different reasons. Dentistry is a fulfilling career as it will allow me to actively improve the oral health of my patients which will be very rewarding. Dentistry is also a multi faceted career which combines many different skills such as problem solving, manual dexterity, good communication as well as time management which is quite appealing. It also provides a good work life balance and there is always the opportunity to further specialise into your chosen field of study.
My interest in science stems from secondary school. I enjoyed biology the most since I was intrigued to learn about the inner workings of the human body. I progressed and studied biology at a level to further develop my knowledge and currently, at university I study anatomy and histology which are both branches of biology.
I also really enjoyed maths throughout secondary school and college. My favourite part of maths was trigonometry at a level. I liked the challenge of solving difficult equations. Maths allowed me to develop transferable skills such as problem solving and thinking analytically and critically which will also be required of me as a dentist in the future.

Hello everyone! My name is Livana and I am currently a third year medical student at the University of Newcastle.

I have been tutoring for five years in subjects ranging from biology, chemistry and maths, all the way to the UCAT, and I am very keen on helping everyone! I also love helping people in their preparation for Medical and Dental school interviews.

In my free time, my hobbies include Taekwondo, playing the violin and hanging out with my friends! I work as a dentist and volunteer at community clinics in providing subsidised dental care to people who drop in for emergency dental treatment (this program is organised by my university).
