I am currently a Computer Science teacher at secondary school in London. I have an in MSc Physics from KCL with interests to pursue academia and research. Previously, I studied BSc Natural Sciences (specialising in Physics and Mathematics) at UCL. Coming from an interdisciplinary degree, I have been able to appreciate the interconnectedness of the varying sciences and mathematics. I have had tutoring experience with Medic Mind over the past 3 years, with a particular focus on teaching GCSE and A-Level Sciences and Mathematics. I aim to provide the quality of teaching tailored to a specific student, with an emphasis on their concerns and demands for their academic progress. My proficiency in the subjects I teach is also reflected in my completion of GCSE Sciences by Year 10. I have also co-edited tutorials and books for Medic Mind, and so I am equipped in teaching the content we deliver.

4 A*s at A-LevelOffer from CambridgeImperialWarwickSheffieldUCL

I’m a third year engineering student at the University of Cambridge. A few of my hobbies are cricket and gym and i love to watch f1. I love the sciences and maths and enjoy teaching it and help people understand and enjoy it as much as I do. Everyone learns in different ways so in my opinion it’s important to understand how you learn and I will try and pick up on how you learn to help you understand as well as possible. There’s no such thing as a silly question so don’t ever be scared to ask and it’s good to vocalise your doubts so when you need help you can get it.It’s completely decided up to you what you want to focus on if you have a plan of what you want to do it is even better because it will help drive the lesson and help boost your learning the most as that what we both want to achieve.

I’m Emily, currently studying at economics and management. I would love to support anyone who needs help in their academic journey, helping them succeed by imparting my knowledge at techniques. I achieved all grade 9s at GCSE, so know how to help students in a broad range of subjects. I also achieved all A*s in my A levels, and am still passionate about my A-level subjects.I try to be flexible in my approach to tutoring. For students who need more guidance, I offer structured lessons with detailed explanations. For more independent learners, I foster problem-solving and self-learning by guiding them through the process rather than simply giving answers. My goal is to adapt to each student’s pace and ensure they are confident in the material we cover. Also, I believe in continuous feedback and open communication, so I regularly check in with students to gauge their understanding and adjust my approach based on their progress.

    Hi everyone!
My name is Aadam and I am an Engineering student at Trinity College, Cambridge.

I have had experience guiding students in their Cambridge Engineering (and STEM) applications in everything from personal statements to interviews. I have particular experience in tutoring the entrance exams/interviews for which I have already prepared many resources.

Having gone through the experience myself, I understand the concerns you will have and stresses that you will be under so rest assured I will be there to answer any questions that you might have and make the process as smooth and as comfortable as possible.

I am also fluent in French and German so I can tutor you in these languages as well as in English if you prefer.

I am ready to help you succeed and hope to see you in Cambridge!

I have also had a lot of experience tutoring online via Zoom (nearly 5 years now) in many subjects at GCSE (and A-Level) so I am completely familiar with the process and I know to harness the many benefits of online tutoring and how to completely avoid its inevitable drawbacks.

Hi! I’m currently studying Physics at the University of Oxford and have over 200 hours of tutoring experience across Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at both GCSE and A Level. I achieved A*s in all four subjects, and I understand how challenging they can be without the right guidance. My teaching style is clear, structured, and encouraging. I take time to understand how each student learns best, tailoring lessons to suit their individual needs — whether that’s building confidence, improving exam technique, or reinforcing difficult concepts. I focus on helping students truly understand the material, not just memorise it, so they can approach problems logically and independently. Lessons are friendly, focused, and designed to help you feel more confident every week. I believe that with the right approach, every student can improve — and I’m here to help make that happen.

Hey there everyone! I’m Rajan, and I absolutely love helping students crack the code on maths, physics, and economics. Trust me, I know these subjects can feel like they’re written in another language sometimes, but that’s exactly why I’m here to help!

I’ve been on this journey myself, going from GCSE level all the way through to my current Masters in Physics at Lincoln University. I got an A in Maths, B in Physics, and B in Economics at A-level, plus solid grade 8s in maths and all sciences at GCSE. But here’s the thing, I remember exactly how overwhelming it all felt at times, which is probably why I’m so passionate about making it click for others.

Over the past four years tutoring at ETC Tuition Centre, I’ve helped various students jump from B’s and C’s up to A’s and A*’s. But honestly, the best part isn’t just the grade improvements, it’s watching that lightbulb moment when everything suddenly makes sense. You know that feeling when a really confusing concept finally clicks? That’s what I live for.

What makes my approach different is that I’ve actually used this stuff in the real world. I’m currently working as a data science intern, I’ve done actuarial analysis. So when you ask “when will I ever use this?” I can actually show you!

I’m also a black belt and play rugby, which taught me that persistence really does pay off. Sometimes you need to tackle a problem from different angles, and I’m here to help you find the approach that works for your brain.

My students often say I make complex topics feel way less scary, and I genuinely enjoy every session.
