My name is Shaz. I am an experienced teacher (18 years) and trainer (8 years). I am open minded and have great communication skills. I am able to get along with all types of learners. I am can get along with people from all types of backgrounds and countries. I spent 10 years teaching in Saudi Arabia and have spent the last 4 years teaching college students. I also have a training background where by I have been a Digital Skills Trainer, IT Trainer, Software Trainer and a Specialist Trainer. My trainer roles took me worldwide. I am a quick thinker and manage my time very effectively. I have gained a variety of transferable skills over the years which I am able to use within my teaching. I am a great motivator and able to assist in a variety of situations. I enjoy a good challenge as it can be quite rewarding.

I am a qualified Financial Accountant AFA (UK) MIPA (Aus) and I bring years of experience and knowledge to help you succeed. I started my career at KPMG, one of the world’s leading professional services firms. I hold a Bachelor’s in International Business with a Major in Accounting from New Zealand and a Master’s from the United Kingdom. I worked as an accountant for over 10 years in industries like Banking and Finance, Import and Export, Retail, Manufacturing, and Hospitality. My journey led me to the UK, where I completed a Master’s at the University of Portsmouth and now contribute to the Civil Service in the UK. These experiences have equipped me with both global perspectives and practical expertise. My goal is to build your confidence and give you the tools to succeed in your studies and career. My name is Waleed. I have over fifteen years of professional working experience in accounting and finance, including 8.5 years at Big4 in audit and tax functions.
Adept at working with multinational organizations across sectors like oil and gas, manufacturing, services, and banking.

My experience includes a strong practical understanding of accounting, which I effectively translate into teaching. This involves applying and explaining various accounting frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP.

Additionally, I have over 8-years of teaching experience as a freelance. Combining my working experience and teaching skills have strengthened my communication skills, problem solving abilities which enable me to leverage this competence to my student to achieve an outstanding outcome.

Also, between 2013 and 2016, I successfully provided coaching and tutoring in Saudi Arabia for candidates of the Saudi Organisation for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA), specifically in the Zakat and Tax subject.

I am an award winning tutor, who has twice won Tutor of the Year awards from the Tutor’s Association, with 20 years teaching/tutoring experience both inside and outside the classroom. I have QTS and have worked as both an examiner and a marker for AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR, and WJEC exam boards.
I have extensive experience tutoring a variety of levels including: Common Entrance, 11+, 13+. International Baccalaureate GCSE’s, A-Level, Undergraduate , and Postgraduate.
I have worked with students for entrance exams and through the interview process various top schools and colleges including Westminster School, Eton, Harrow, City of London School, Dulwich College and Lady Margaret.
I have specific qualifications in Educational Psychology, online teaching, and SEN /EGS teaching.
I am a double BA holder and Masters (Distinction) holder.
