Hello! My name is Emily and I am a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, where I read Geography and was awarded an academic scholarship. I am currently studying for a law conversion and will shortly commence a training contract at a magic circle law firm.
I began offering tuition shortly after I completed my A-level studies at Godolphin &
Latymer, where I achieved A*s in Mathematics, Geography, French, Spanish and in an EPQ. Since then I have gained experience supporting primary students working towards 11+ and Common Entrance exams, worked with students preparing for their GCSE and A-level exams, including revision and consolidation work throughout the year as well as exam paper practice and final preparation, and helping students with university applications and transfer work.
I am passionate about learning and love the direct impact 1-to-1 tuition allows me to have on
my students and their own learning journey. I take a keen interest in prompting students’ own independent learning and ensuring their progress with me. My lively, energetic and fun approach helps my students stay engaged and make my sessions memorable.
Hi, I’m Tom. I have been tutoring for 5 years and I would be delighted to take you on as my next student! My own academic journey has been incredibly fulfilling, providing me with exciting opportunities and transforming my approach to learning. Through my studies, I developed a deep passion for my subjects, honed my problem-solving skills, and built the confidence to tackle complex challenges.
I find immense joy in guiding students on their own academic paths. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring for me is witnessing the growth in my students – seeing their understanding deepen, their grades improve, and their confidence soar. I firmly believe that the skills and mindsets developed through our work together will serve them well not just in their immediate academic pursuits, but in all their future endeavors. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, preparing for university admissions, or simply looking to deepen your understanding of maths and science, I’m here to support and inspire you every step of the way.

Hi! I’m Amber, I am a second year Veterinary Medicine Student at the University of Cambridge. I am a passionate and dedicated student looking to share my academic tips and commitment to learning with the realm of tutoring. In my A levels I achieved three A*s in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, which gives me a solid foundation of teaching for the subjects I have chosen to tutor. I also received 11 GCSE grades with 10 Grade 9s and 1 Grade 8. To receive my place in Veterinary Medicine at Cambridge University, I completed the NSAA. I have also experienced the entrance exam structure including the ISEB entrance exams.
Beyond my core academic studies, I undertook an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on the expression of mental illness in art which developed core research and analytical skills that I have used since. Throughout my time at secondary school into sixth form, I was awarded an academic scholarship for 7 years (starting in year 7), along with an Art scholarship for 5 (starting in year 9).
My academic journey has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the subjects I tutor. Due to my degree being heavily stem based, I bring a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical insight, and further understanding of many topics.
By choosing me as a tutor, you invest in a dedicated and accomplished individual who is both well-versed in the academic standards of biology, chemistry, and maths, and in application processes ranging between the 11+ exams to a Cambridge Veterinary Medicine application. I am excited about the opportunity this will give me to guide and inspire students on their academic journey, and I have full confidence that my educational background and passion for teaching and helping others will make a meaningful impact on others’ education.
