We are currently seeking dedicated SEN / SEND Teachers in Suffolk including Lowestoft, Haverhill, Bury-St-Edmunds, Ipswich and the surrounding areas to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of vulnerable learners. We support children and young people with a variety of needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and other additional educational needs. Suffolk SEN Teacher Role
As a SEN / SEND Teacher at Study Mind, you will:
• Provide 1:1 Maths, English, or Science tuition for students with SEND, SEMH, and other additional needs.
• Plan and deliver structured, personalised lessons for each student.
• Adjust teaching methods to engage students effectively.
• Track progress and provide feedback to families and schools.
• Work collaboratively with local authorities and schools to ensure the holistic development of each student.
SEN / SEND Teacher Tasks and Responsibilities in Suffolk
• Plan each lesson to suit individual learning styles, ensuring academic and emotional development.
• Deliver lessons that foster academic achievement and personal development.
• Provide updates through reports and feedback to families and support networks.

SEN / SEND Teacher Requirements in Suffolk
• Teaching Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification such as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with at least 1 year of experience working with students with SEND.
• Knowledge: Understanding of SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other additional needs, with the ability to tailor teaching methods accordingly.
