I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.

For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.

I am well-placed to provide tuition at 11 and 13+, as well as English Language, English Literature and RE GCSE, A-Level and degree-level tuition. I am also up-to-date on examination syllabi and the requirements needed for achieving top marks.

I am an experienced tutor who aims to make learning fun and rewarding. I started tutoring while I was studying my degree and discovered that I loved it! After completing my degree, I started tutoring privately and then joined tutoring companies such as Explore Learning and Catch Up Academy.

I tutor English, math and science from KS1 up to KS3 in person and online. I also tutor 11+ (GL and CEM) and GCSE Maths where I work to prepare students for the exams. I specialise in tutoring people who have SENDs needs or require to be home schooled. I will ensure that the student’s needs are met during the sessions and I am flexible when it comes to tutoring. I can also support you with developing coping strategies, build confidence or finding different approaches when it comes to learning or taking exams.

My goal to provide a safe and encouraging learning environment where the student has accomplished their goal by the end of the session. Hello I’m an experienced teacher who has worked in EYFS, KS1, KS2 and KS3 over nearly 30 years. I have worked within schools, pupil’s homes and libraries as well as working alongside Alternative Provisions. I have learnt so much from colleagues, parents and my pupils and have an excellent understanding of the expected development of language, learning and social skills which allows me to provide a very personal approach. My specialism has become working with children and young people with learning and/or communication differences who may need accommodations and adaptations to increase their access and inclusion and allow them to feel successful.

In my free time I love being outdoors and camp regularly throughout the year with friends. I enjoy music and attend music gigs at least once a month. I am learning British Sign Language through Sense and online Smile & Sign sessions, learning to sign pop, soul and Motown songs, which is fast but really fun.

Greetings, my name is Sana. I conduct individualised tutoring sessions in Mathematics and English Language and Literature for students preparing for GCSE examinations, as well as those at Key Stage levels. Additionally, I offer mentoring in English and Mathematics for students ranging from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4, and provide focused tutoring sessions for SATS preparation. I also offer individualised and group SEN 1:1 support & tutoring.
