My A-Levels in Mathematics (A*), Economics (A) and Physics (A) provided a strong foundation for me to study Economics at University College London. Along my academic journey, I adopted a range of learning styles, from using worked examples and interactive tools to reinforce my understanding, to using mnemonics and visual aids to aid memory. As a tutor, this has made me attuned to different learning styles, and I am able to adapt my approach to whatever method brings out the best in a student.

In my professional life, I completed CFA Level 1 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working at EY. I have over 10 years teaching experience. I teach accountancy, finance, investment, tax, maths & statistics in A level graduate and post graduate level. In addition, I teach high profile professional exam students for ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT, CTA, ATT, CISI, IMC and CFA. I also teach portfolio management, wealth management, corporate finance, financial reporting, quantitative method, econometrics, equity investment, fixed income, alternative investment, risk management, derivatives and foreign exchange. In accountancy, I teach all subjects area which includes financial accounting, financial reporting, corporate reporting, management accounting, performance management, financial management including advanced financial management, audit and assurance, personal taxation, corporate taxation, capital gain tax, value added tax and inheritance tax. Moreover, I also teach GCSE and A level maths, statistics & accounting and cover all boards syllabus.
I have completed BSc (Honours) in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University. In addition, I have passed two high profile professional exams (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA Chartered Financial Analyst CFA) in accounting, finance and investment sector.

I offer specialist one to one, one to many, and online tuition services. I have tutored hundreds of university students at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. At least 50% of my students are ACA ICAEW trainees working professionals. I have helped so many of them to pass their exams. My pass rate is over 95%. I also tutor ACCA, CIMA and AAT students. Understanding concepts, practicing past exam questions, effective time management, these are the factors that contribute towards exam success. In the first lesson, I assess where student is standing in terms of learning. I plan my lessons accordingly and keep guiding students on strategy.

Hello! I’m Thomas, a third-year medical student at the University of Exeter.

Before medical school, I worked in multiple sectors, including maritime, finance, and healthcare. These experiences have allowed me to bolster my communication skills in various challenging and routine settings. It has also allowed me to manage applicants at every stage of the application journey, from application to job offer.

I have supported other aspiring medics in their interview, UCAT and personal statement preparation during my time in medical school. I decided to pursue this following my success in receiving four offers to study medicine at high-ranking institutions and my desire to make this a reality for more people who may have yet to have the chance to practice their interview techniques. Each individual I have supported has gone on to study at various medical schools across the UK, and I hope to do this for you, too.

Drawing on my diverse range of experiences, I am eager to work with you to help you secure a place at your desired university. I offer tutoring for Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) and Panel Interviews (PI).

I am an MBA finance Graduate from Anglia Ruskin University with a distinction in international financial markets. I also hold a diploma in Investment advice from the Chartered Institute for securities and investment. This helped me become a level 4 RDR compliant finance professional. I’m currently working in the wealth management industry in the UK.

Alongside that, I have been a passionate student of finance and have been investing since the age of 17. My knowledge and exposure in the field also makes me an investor managing a private portfolio diversified across different countries and sectors. My goal in the future is to become financially independent at a young age and impart the knowledge I gain everyday from my industry to the students who need it and are looking forward to build a career in the field of finance.
