My name is Youssef, and with over 7 years of comprehensive teaching experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of subjects ranging from biology and chemistry to physics and computer science. Specializing in various exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and WJEC, I ensure a tailored approach to meet the specific needs of my students.

In biology, I delve into topics like genetics, evolution, and ecology, igniting a passion for the natural world. Chemistry sees me elucidating fundamental principles like chemical reactions, atomic structure, and organic chemistry, making the subject both engaging and relevant to daily life. However, my comprehensive grasp of motion, forces, energy, electricity, and magnetism allows me to effectively guide my students through these complex topics. From Newton’s laws to electromagnetic phenomena, I strive to make physics both understandable and fascinating for my students.

Moreover, in the ever-evolving field of computer science, I bring my knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and software development to the classroom. I have assisted my students in developing their coding skills and understanding the theoretical foundations of computer science. By nurturing their curiosity and encouraging exploration, I aim to inspire the next generation of innovators in this field.

My versatility as an educator extends to teaching English, where I enhance reading, writing, and comprehension skills, instilling critical thinking and effective communication abilities. With a solid understanding of grammar and literature, I empower students to become expressive writers and effective communicators.

With experience teaching students of various age groups, including those with ADHD and dyslexia, I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs and interests. My sessions are not only informative but also lively and engaging, incorporating activities like going over past papers to maximize results.

Outside of teaching, my hobbies include playing video games, listening to music, watching movies, and photography. Overall, my commitment, expertise, and adaptability as an educator shine through, as I strive to instill a love for learning and help students realize their full potential across all school levels, from primary to A-levels.

Hi! I’m a final year Dental student at the University of Manchester 🙂 I’ve had lots of experience in tutoring students and prospective students one on one, reviewing personal statements (even if they’re for different courses or courses that are slightly related – e.g. Medicine!), and I’ve provided a lot of Q&A sessions for how I got into Uni and how I got 4/4 of my offers.

I received offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary College, Cardiff University, and the University of Manchester. I come from a socioeconomically deprived area, so I understand how it feels to be in competition for a University spot against others with better luck of the draw. I also have ADHD so I know how it feels to be a neurodivergent student and require slightly different styles and modes of teaching and concentration.

I love working with people and helping them – it’s part of why I want to go into Dentistry! I’d love for a chance to tutor even more people and make sure they’re receiving the best quality education and top personal tips for getting into Uni. Since I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador at UoM, I’ve also received “inside info” on how to ace your interview, and going through so many interviews myself as both the interviewee and the interviewer has given me a lot of experience so I can share all my knowledge with you!
