Hi. My name is Reza I am currently a second-year medical student at the University of Glasgow. I remember how daunting and struggling it was the first time I was beginning to apply for medical school. From A-levels, Interviews, UCAT and personal statements there were a lot of things I had no idea about. This sense of feeling ‘lost’ is the primary reason I took on this role at medic mind. I genuinely want to teach and more importantly, fix aspiring students’ mistakes. I don’t want them to make the same ones I made and learned from during my time applying to university. Through my experiences, I want to guide young people to help get into medical school. I also was a former medic mind tutee myself so I am familiar with the system and how to approach students. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and cycling. Recently though, I have picked up the hobby of cooking.

My name is Nehan, I am 21 Years old and have been through the ups and downs of school life and studies and want to be there to help you get through it and help you get the grades and results for your next chapter in life. I have lots of different hobbies like: Badminton, chess, gaming and table tennis. Also I am a massive football fan loving Manchester United. I went to Salesian College in Farnborough before being accepted to do Dentistry at the University of Liverpool. I am at the start of my third year and am finding it exhilarating especially as I have seen my first patient already! I have received tutoring throughout my schooling experience so I know what it is like to be a student and I have tutored at Explore Learning so I also know how to tutor therefore I know what it is like to be on both sides of the equation. Overall I am a Positive, determined and diligent person that wants to work with you to improve not only your academic ability, but also your confidence in the subject in a more engaging and active way.

I’m a doctor and scientist, a graduate of an Ivy League medical school, who have always been passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their maximum potential. My MD alongside my bachelors degrees allowed me to acquire a strong background in a variety of subjects. Since I was a student, I discovered I have a great ability to teach. Colleagues were often approaching me for help given my ability to simplify and deliver knowledge in the most effective manner.

Hello! My name is Asirini, but you can call me Srini! I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor currently in my final year studying Law at the University of Oxford, where I consistently rank at the top of my cohort. I have migrated quite a bit, and thus have had the privilege to experience a plethora of cultures- thus, I think myself to be very open-minded and adaptable. Hi I’m Preethi and I’ve just completed my first year of medicine at Cardiff University. As a medical student coming from a state school in an underprivileged area myself, I feel I can draw on my personal experiences to provide honest insight into parts of the application I wish I’d known at the point of applying. With the skills and experience I’ve gained from tutoring GCSE maths and biology for around a year during high school and A level chemistry and biology during college for the same period of time, I feel I can apply this skillset to be a useful mentor for perspective applicants with Medic Mind.
