I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with dual Master’s degrees in Computer Science (Imperial) and Philosophy (Cambridge). My academic background has equipped me with a strong foundation in logical reasoning, problem-solving, and abstract thinking. I am eager to bring these skills to tutoring you Physics, Math, and Philosophy. I am also happy to provide general mentoring about these subjects.

At high-school level, I did IB (Sevenoaks School) and I got 766 (which is equivalent to A*AA) in Higher Level Physics, Math and Philosophy. I also received full marks for the Extended Essay in Philosophy.

I was born in Seoul, Korea and I moved from county to country for my entire childhood.

In my own time I practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and play chess. I am also building an edu-tech platform with friends from university.

I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.

For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.

I am well-placed to provide tuition at 11 and 13+, as well as English Language, English Literature and RE GCSE, A-Level and degree-level tuition. I am also up-to-date on examination syllabi and the requirements needed for achieving top marks.

I have tutoring experience in GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, GCSE Religious Studies and Oxbridge Classics admissions. I also mentor students in application for Oxbridge Classics, as I changed degrees in my third year, and assisted a student in her successful entrance to Oxford for Classics via personal statement, interview/test advice and general information about the course and university life. Therefore, I am available to support Oxbridge Classics admissions.

After graduating with a Philosophy BA (first class) from King’s College London, I worked in commercial law for one of the world’s leading tech companies for a period of one year, before leaving to pursue my own entrepreneurial career in app development.

LNAT tutoring: I have secured entry to Durham University and King’s College London (among others) for LNAT students, helping them achieve marks of 31+.

French tutoring: I am a native French speaker and obtained A* at A-level French (native speaker exam) as well as A* at GCSE. I have acted as French teacher and curriculum designer to home-schooled students, helping them to achieve A at A-level, as well as securing multiple high-scoring IB and GCSE results.

Legal experience: I have completed mini-pupillages at top commercial law chambers such as Quadrant Chambers and Four New Square, and won several moot court competitions both within King’s College and representing the university on the European stage, all of which has given me extensive academic and professional legal experience.

Darcy Dixon graduated from the University of Oxford in 2022 with a High 2.1 and several first class papers.

In Oxford, Darcy was an access rep for her JCR, was the Equity rep for Oxford Drama Society, and the Outreach rep for ACS. She sang at Keble College and was an Open Day rep for the Theology Faculty. Darcy went to St Peters studying the Joint honours degree Philosophy and Theology. Darcy was in the Top 100 Undergraduates for Future Leaders Magazine.

Darcy has done a TEDx talk on the power of change and immediate action. Darcy is also the Vice Chair of the Black Head Students Network, an organisation committed to propelling Black youth leadership within schools. Currently, Darcy is Resident Creative at City University of London, in Islington.

Darcy was on the Young Mentor programme for the Young Vic Theatre, where she was trained to advise industry professionals.

Hi! My name is Roheena and I’ve just finished my degree in PPE at Merton College, Oxford. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, volunteering with charities I care about and learning new languages (currently working on my Mandarin).

Throughout my studies I, like most people, have had ups and downs, but I’m a firm believer that if you are willing to stick at something, it will work out, whatever your goal is. For me, my goal was nine level nines at GCSE and going to Oxford; I’m pleased to say I’ve had a wonderful time doing both. While I don’t yet know what your goals are, I’m keen to be with you as you work towards achieving them!

Hi! I am a final-year PPE student at the University of Oxford, on track to achieve a high first-class degree. I specialise in Politics and Philosophy, but am still familiar with economic concepts and able to teach this at a pre-university level. I took Politics, Mathematics, and Economics at A-Level, and wrote an EPQ in Philosophy. I achieved a very high score on the TSA admissions test for Oxford, and performed well enough at interview to obtain an offer. Throughout my course, I have offered tuition for A-level and GCSE students, and supported them with exam preparation. I have also supported students at earlier years for 11+ tests, and later years for interview practice and personal statement support. I have a passion for making learning engaging, meaningful, and making sure people feel prepared and confident for whatever tests or assignments they may have coming up.

Hello! My name is Gee Ren and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Political Theory at LSE. I also studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford as an undergraduate. With experience tutoring for the TSA admissions test, guiding personal statement development across various subjects, and conducting mock tutorials, I’m keen on supporting ambitious students in their university applications. At Oxford, I edited several student publications, sharpening my eye for effective, clear writing — a skill I bring to each tutoring session. I also provide guidance for Oxbridge interview preparation and specialised support for university-level philosophy and politics students. I am a patient, rigorous and highly experienced teacher, tutor, educational consultant, textbook writer, course designer and translator with over 8 years experience in the UK and EU.

I took my undergrad studies at the University of Warwick and Sciences Po Paris in PPE, followed by graduate studies in Mathematics and Philosophy at the Sorbonne and the University of Paris.

I teach Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, History, Philosophy, English Literature and languages: French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin and Ancient Greek). I teach Mathematics, Economics and Philosophy to Undergraduate level.

Aside from my academic interests, I am passionate about music (especially Jazz, Gospel and Disco) and film, playing the piano, saxophone. I am also avidly interested in politics and current affairs (for better or worse).
