I am Uday Modhwadia, a recent graduate of the prestigious University of Cambridge. My academic journey at Cambridge has equipped me with a solid foundation in Economic Geography and urbanism, which I am eager to apply in a professional capacity. I’m Rufus and I hold a 1st Class BA(Hons) in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge. I have several years experience in tutoring Oxbridge applicants, including personal statement help, mock interviews and general preparation. While I specialise in Land Economy applications, I am also able to assist Economics applicants.
I also have experience teaching a range of other subjects at various levels, from Economics A-Level to Physics GCSE tuition.

Hi there!

My name is Ruairi (think roar-ree). I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with, among other things, a first-class with distinction in my dissertation on public policy. Throughout my time at Cambridge, I have taken papers spanning development, economics, law, and policy. I am combining the knowledge and skills I gained during my undergraduate degree to become a corporate lawyer at a global, Top 20 AM Law firm.

In the meantime, I would like to tutor you! I have thoroughly enjoyed tutoring in the past and believe I can help you excel in a wide range of subjects. I would also be more than happy to help with applications and interviews, be that to universities or to law firms. More generally, I can give you advice on navigating college/sixth form, university, and the corporate world, based on my past successes (and failures!).

Outside of academia and work, I like to watch Arsenal and international rugby. I am also hoping to get back into gym and kickboxing in the new academic year, as well as jewellery-making.

Hello! I am a recent graduate from Oxford in PPE. I have been tutoring for several years in a range of subjects. I scored very highly in the TSA with an 81 in my year, and have gained firsts in several papers (still awaiting final overall mark).

I have a deep love for classics, and begun my interest in philosophy through classical greek and latin literature. I spent a lot of time in school successfully competing in debating competitions and MUN around the world, winning many competitions. I am headed for a career in economics and have a deep passion for this field both academically and personally.

I am an engaging and passionate tutor who takes pride in how many of my students have gone on to excel from my tutelage and still keep in contact with me to this day.

Hello! My name is Aroosa and I am a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Economics. I thoroughly enjoyed my degree and time at Cambridge and would love to be able to pass this on to other keen students.

I achieved 9 A*s and 3 As at GCSE. At A Level, I studied Economics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Biology where I achieved A*AAA.

I then went on to accept an offer from Cambridge University for an Economics undergraduate degree. As part of the admissions process for this, I sat the ECAA pre-interview assessment and then attended an interview. I gained several valuable insights from these and would love to share some advice with other budding Oxbridge applicants.

As part of my degree course, I studied modules including: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Labour, Industry, Economic History, Political Economics, and Development Economics.

Hi, I’m Alessandro! I studied PPE at St Edmund Hall, Oxford, where I graduated with a 2.1 in July 2022 and achieved the highest mark in the PPE cohort in the Econometrics finals paper. I was also awarded an Open Scholarship for academic excellence in my first year (2020). I recently completed a master’s degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics at LSE, graduating with a Distinction and ranking 2nd in my cohort, for which I was jointly awarded the Ely Devons Prize. Prior to university, I was one of 275 out of 86,826 students worldwide to achieve a score of 45 in the International Baccalaureate (HL Maths, Latin and Ancient Greek). I have provided end-to-end support to students applying to Oxford PPE, helping them write their personal statement and prepare for the TSA and interviews, so I am keenly aware of how intimidating the process can be and how it can be simplified. 2 of my students achieved offers to study PPE at Oxford in the latest admissions cycle. I have also worked with students taking IB Maths and participated in teaching community projects for 4 years. In my spare time, I enjoy running and ran the Brighton Marathon in 2022; I am also currently learning Spanish. I am very excited to share my passion for PPE and Maths with students and help them develop their self-confidence, subject knowledge and critical thinking skills so that they can achieve their academic goals.
