Hello! I’m a recent graduate who has just finished my final year exams for a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have a strong passion for mathematics and statistics, and I’m captivated by the fascinating field of data science! I also have experience teaching primary and secondary mathematics, which stems from my passion for the subject.

With a strong foundation in both theory and practical applications, I’m eager to share my expertise and help students navigate the exciting landscape of Mathematics, English and other key subjects. I studied History, English, Music and Biology at A Level (3 A*s, 1A) and, while at school, also gained two diplomas in French Horn (LRSM and DipABRSM) alongside Grade 8 Singing (ABRSM) and Verse & Prose (LAMDA), Grade 7 Piano (ABRSM) and Acting (LAMDA) and Grade 5 Music Theory (ABRSM). I then undertook a BA in History and English at Oxford, during which time I was awarded two scholarships for academic achievement. Since graduating in 2021, I have also gained an Acting Diploma from the London School of Dramatic Art.

I absolutely loved my time at uni, and while at school I was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers that showed me how fun learning can be. I would love to be able to inspire others like I was inspired.

My hobbies include cooking, reading and going on walks around my local area looking for cats to stroke!

My name is Ruairi (think roar-ree). I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with, among other things, a first-class with distinction in my dissertation on public policy. Throughout my time at Cambridge, I have taken papers spanning development, economics, law, and policy. I am combining the knowledge and skills I gained during my undergraduate degree to become a corporate lawyer at a global, Top 20 AM Law firm.

In the meantime, I would like to tutor you! I have thoroughly enjoyed tutoring in the past and believe I can help you excel in a wide range of subjects. I would also be more than happy to help with applications and interviews, be that to universities or to law firms. More generally, I can give you advice on navigating college/sixth form, university, and the corporate world, based on my past successes (and failures!).
