Hi, my name is Arun and I am currently a 4th year medical student at Sheffield University intercalating in a clinical research project. I completed my A-levels, UCAT, and medical interviews in 2020. I had 4 interviews and received offers from all four. I am a well-experienced tutor having completed over 1500 hours of tutoring with Medic Mind in a range of topics, from GCSEs and A-Levels to UCAT and interviews as well as university consultations

I was one of the few students to undertake the A-level exams in November 2020 after my exams were cancelled due to Coronavirus. I am dyslexic so I have weird and wonderful ways to remember critical information and I hope I can support prospective doctors (dyslexic or non) to achieve their dream of becoming a medical professional.

I was not labelled as your typical medical student by my school. I continued to persevere until I reached the goal that I set for myself, with the help of my family.

I hope we can work well together and achieve what you want, just like I did. 🙂

Hi, my name is Ips. I’m an undergraduate Biomedical Science student from the UK.

I am creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and manage relationships.

I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual looking to develop my academic skills in the professional world of healthcare and science. I am also a keen learner in all fields and aspects. Further to add, I am adept at public speaking and am receptive to change, and willing to learn and take on board exciting challenges.

I like writing and have written several unpublished short books and articles. Aside from my love of traveling, I also enjoy playing sports and reading. If I’m missing, then it’s best to look for me in the kitchen whipping together a tasty meal or punching the bag at my gym for the extra pump of endorphins and dopamine.

I’m often found dawdling in the world of academic creativity. As a nerd who doesn’t always ace her exams, I’m always there for a good conversation with a strong espresso at hand 🙂

    Hello there!

My name is Abbey, I’m a 2nd Year Vet Med student in the Graduate Entry programme at the University of Edinburgh. Before this degree, I completed my BSc in Veterinary Biosciences and an MRes of Parasite Control at Aberystwyth University.

Outside the classroom, I am very active, acting as captain of the vet school’s badminton team that competes monthly in the local league with weekly training. I also am one of the student ambassadors at vet school, so am very familiar with the runnings of the school.

I have been involved in several extracurricular activities since secondary school, ranging from Model United Nations, organising blood drives, to being the managing editor of the school newspaper just to name a few! This carried into my university years in my first degree, restarting the Animal & Veterinary Society and holding roles such as President, Vice-President and Secretary, and being a part of a 10-year consecutive winning dance team as well.

Hi, my name is safaa and I am a 3rd year medical student who attends Keele University. I love medicine and would love to help those who want to get into it as much as I can. I am a kind and friendly individual and would like to think I am approachable. I love to give to potential medical students so they have the best outcomes in the future. I have a friendly approach to my teaching so students to feel at ease and get the best out of the session but at the same time, I try to give honest feedback so that they can improve from what they have done and can learn from it. As a student, I feel like I know how other students would like to learn. As a medical student that went through the process of this before, I know it can feel quite daunting and hard so now that I have got where I am I would love to help students achieve their dreams.

Hi! I’m Ananya, a third-year law student at the University of Cambridge.

I have helped students with their personal statements, the LNAT, and Oxbridge admission interviews. My students have been successful in getting into Cambridge Law, and I look forward to helping you succeed, too.

I love to read and write: my poem was shortlisted for the Singapore Poetry Festival in 2020; I have published a legal article in the Singapore Comparative Law Review; and one of my first-class university essays was published in Per Incuriam (a publication run by the Law Society at Cambridge). My passion for writing has served me well academically, and I would be happy to share what I have learnt with you.

I was born in India and grew up in Singapore, and I would be more than happy to talk to you about life as an international student in the UK!
