Hi, my name is Arun and I am currently a 4th year medical student at Sheffield University intercalating in a clinical research project. I completed my A-levels, UCAT, and medical interviews in 2020. I had 4 interviews and received offers from all four. I am a well-experienced tutor having completed over 1500 hours of tutoring with Medic Mind in a range of topics, from GCSEs and A-Levels to UCAT and interviews as well as university consultations
I was one of the few students to undertake the A-level exams in November 2020 after my exams were cancelled due to Coronavirus. I am dyslexic so I have weird and wonderful ways to remember critical information and I hope I can support prospective doctors (dyslexic or non) to achieve their dream of becoming a medical professional.
I was not labelled as your typical medical student by my school. I continued to persevere until I reached the goal that I set for myself, with the help of my family.
I hope we can work well together and achieve what you want, just like I did. 🙂
I am a final year medical student at Flinders University who is about to graduate soon. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.
I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.
The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.
I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well
Hi there! My name is Isabella and I am a masters student studying marine biology at the University of St. Andrews. Having always had an affinity for the ocean, I began working towards my goal of being a marine biologist from an early age. I now specialise in the study of deep-sea corals and their possible future application in pharmaceutical drugs. Having worked in an academic environment as a research assistant I know that my particular field is one that is always evolving, with new research being published every day, keeping the subject fresh and exciting
During my three years of tutoring and classroom teaching I have found that the enthusiasm I bring to learning leads to curiosity, which in turn leads to positive habits of pursing knowledge and challenges the mindset that studying is a chore. My goals include creating an environment in which the tutee is able to communicate their problem areas with ease and also encouraging self-learning by giving students opportunities to work through problems themselves once familiar with the subject matter.

Hi! I’m Molly, and I’m a 4th year medical student at Cambridge University. I am a friendly, encouraging and enthusiastic, and I love helping students to enjoy learning and feel more confident in their abilites.
A bit about about me: I’ve always enjoyed teaching, and started off by teaching the piano to some of my neighbours when I was 14. Since then, I’ve gained lots of experience of teaching everything from GCSE sciences and sixth form admissions exams, to UCAT/BMAT and medicine interview prep.
At school I achieved 10A*s at GCSE, and A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths A-levels. I really sharing my interest in these subjects through tutoring, as well as strategies for achieving the very top top grades (whether that be for a KS3 exam, all the way through to A-level).
Furthermore, having achieved 3160 in the UKCAT (top 1% of my cohort), and 4 offers to study medicine at university, I am keen to pass on my knowledge in this area too. I went to a secondary school where hardly anyone gets into med school, so fully understand how daunting the process can be. I would love to pass on everything I’ve learnt about applying, what it’s like when you get there, and how to enjoy the process too!
In my free time I love everything to do with the outdoors, especially running and hiking 🙂

I am amirreza, currently in my fourth year of studying Medicine and Surgery. I would like to share some aspects of my academic journey and experiences that I believe align with your esteemed institution’s values and aspirations.
My academic path at the University of Padua has been marked by active participation and a strong commitment to my fellow students. As the official representative of the entire Medicine and Surgery Course in English, I have had the privilege of assisting my peers with their academic and personal challenges. My role extended to providing valuable tutoring, enabling them to grasp complex course materials more effectively.
Additionally, I have been an integral part of the Padua Medical Council, where I collaborated closely with professors and council members. Our collective efforts have contributed to curriculum enhancements and the organization of elective courses like emergency medicine. Moreover, I actively participated in the admission process for new students, helping to shape the future of our program.
As a tutor, both within and outside the university, I have channeled my passion for becoming a doctor into guiding others. My dedication to understanding the material on a profound level is fueled by my belief that one day, this knowledge will enable me to save lives. For now, my greatest joy lies in assisting aspiring medical students in achieving their dreams of gaining admission to medical school. Together, we can make a significant difference.
Furthermore, I take pride in consistently ranking as a top student in my course. This reflects my unwavering commitment to excellence in my studies.
Beyond academia, I am an enthusiastic voluntary member of the Red Cross, where I have the opportunity to contribute to humanitarian causes and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Warm regards,
amir reza
Hello, I am Jacob. I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Masters degree in Natural Sciences. I specialise in biochemistry; having also studied cell biology, chemistry, and physics at the university level. Throughout my studies I have achieved research positions in many world-leading laboratories including the Gurdon Institute and Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. I currently work at CRUK as a research scientist, and will shortly begin a PhD investigating the molecular biology of resistance to radiation therapy in cancer. I have an extensive knowledge of biology and chemistry from my time learning directly from world leaders in these fields at Cambridge.
I have an interest and enthusiasm for science, particularly cell biology, which I hope to teach to others. I also aim to make Russell group universities and Oxbridge more accessible to bright students who have not recieved the right opportunities to excel.
Medicine is without doubt a difficult course to get into, and there are a lot of hurdles even before arriving to an interview. As for each of these hurdles, they can all be quite daunting which is where my role comes in as a tutor.
Hello! I’m Amritanshu and I am a 4th year medical student who started in Newcastle, intercalated and transferred. I primarily teach medical interview preparation, but I also guide students through every part of the application journey—from the academics (EPQ),UCAT, personal statements to advising non-academic activities like work experience and how to make the most of it.
I’m genuinely excited to help you on your journey. Having been in your shoes, I know how essential guidance is at this pivotal stage. The interview process is incredibly sensitive—one misstep can mean waiting an entire year—so it’s crucial to approach it with care and strategy. If you choose to work with me, I understand that you’re trusting me with a key step in your career, and I’m committed to helping you succeed.
In all seriousness, we’ll put in the hard work, but I also believe it’s important to enjoy the process—this is an exciting journey and a small stepping stone towards your future career.
It’s also important for me to find the right tutor for you, and I believe in open communication
so we can figure out if we’re the right fit. Your success can depend on finding the tutor who feels best suited to support and mentor you, and I’m here to help if that’s me.
My advice to take away, whether you take a tutor or not, I urge you to start your preparation for your entire medical application as soon as possible. Many students underestimate the time needed to prepare for the standards required in the interviews and end up rushing. Slow and Steady gets you a place in medicine.
Additionally I am officially trained in stress management, leadership and teamwork.
