I’m Emily, currently studying at economics and management. I would love to support anyone who needs help in their academic journey, helping them succeed by imparting my knowledge at techniques. I achieved all grade 9s at GCSE, so know how to help students in a broad range of subjects. I also achieved all A*s in my A levels, and am still passionate about my A-level subjects.I try to be flexible in my approach to tutoring. For students who need more guidance, I offer structured lessons with detailed explanations. For more independent learners, I foster problem-solving and self-learning by guiding them through the process rather than simply giving answers. My goal is to adapt to each student’s pace and ensure they are confident in the material we cover. Also, I believe in continuous feedback and open communication, so I regularly check in with students to gauge their understanding and adjust my approach based on their progress.

I’m a tutor for Maths, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, TARA Admissions Test, SAT, UCAS Personal Statement Writing, and Oxford Interview Prepatation, with over 3 years and 150 hours of tutoring experience. I have tutored students both online and in-person, with ages ranging from 12-18 years old. I’ve helped a student jump from a B to an A* in Economics A-Level, and I’ve guided a student through the UCAS process and helped them achieve an Oxford Economics and Management offer. I am a top 1% TSA scorer, achieving a 9.0 TARA equivalent. I achieved A*A*AA at A-Level (2025), with Maths at 96%, and 12 Grade 9s at GCSE (2023), with Maths at 98%, Further Maths and Chemistry at 97%, and Biology at 94%. Outside of academics, I’m a national-level kayaker and a certified scuba diver! I’m super excited to work with you!

I hold a CQF with Distinction, an MSc in Economics from LSE, and currently work in applied financial engineering advisory, where I benchmark and validate exotic derivatives pricing models daily — from Bermudan options and callable bonds to inflation-linked swaps and Monte Carlo simulations.
My work sits at the intersection of quantitative theory and real-world application: building independent pricing models, calibrating volatility surfaces, computing CVA/DVA adjustments, and stress-testing credit risk frameworks. I also code actively in Python, C++, and VBA, and pursue personal research in stochastic expansion methods for exotic option pricing.
