Hi there! My name is Zunaira Saeed and I am a Junior Doctor. I have been tutoring students for Medical Interviews, A-levels, and GCSEs for about 10 years now. I also teach GAMSAT, BMAT and Interviews for Australian Medical Universities. At A-Levels, I achieved 2 A* in Biology and Chemistry and A in Physics. At GCSEs, I secured 7A*1A. My lessons are personalized to the individual student according to their requirements with special focus on their weaknesses and I give my students enough time until they are able to clear their concepts and improve before we move on to the next topic. Hi, I’m Jemma! I am currently studying Dentistry at Newcastle University. I have great interest in this career as I thrive in an interpersonal role due to my confident and outgoing nature. Due to being in my 5th year, I have gained a breadth of clinical experience and performed a wide variety of procedures. I feel this, alongside the variety of patients I have interacted with gives me a great understanding of Dentistry, the techniques behind it, and the skills required. Hi! My name is Lavanya and I’m a fourth year Dental Surgery student at University of Leeds. Hi! I’m Lucy, a first year dental student at the University of Liverpool. To align with my interests in biological sciences, I chose to study ALevels in Biology and Chemistry. I found quite a few concepts in Chemistry initially challenging, meaning I had to develop new methods to break down topics in a way that I understood. My third choice was Geography, a subject that has helped me understand the complex relationships of people, places and the environment. After being stuck in Budapest Airport on the morning of results day (and getting back just in time!), I opened my envelope to A*A*A, so this is your sign you can do it too!

Applying to dental school is tough, but I think it really helps to know someone that’s been through the process recently, and so can give up-to-date advice. Completing interview preparation courses during my own application, and now becoming a dental student I have a strong understanding of what dental schools seek.
