I am a final year medical student at Flinders University who is about to graduate soon. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.

I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.

The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.

I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well

Hello! My name is Anusha, and I am a 3rd Year Graduate Entry Medical Student at Swansea University. I have also completed a degree in Population Health and Medical Sciences, so I have a good knowledge of public health issues and a solid grounding in Biology.

When I applied the first time, I received interviews for Undergraduate Medicine at Sheffield, Southampton, Bristol and Plymouth, and offers at Sheffield, Southampton and Plymouth. When I applied for Graduate Entry Medicine, I received interviews from Swansea and Nottingham (Grad Entry) and finally chose Swansea as my Medical School!

I have good experience with the UCAT and the GAMSAT, and in the GAMSAT I scored high enough to secure two interviews at highly competitive graduate medical schools, so I have a wealth of tips and tricks for these exams. I have undertaken my Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences where I achieved a GPA of 7. During this degree, I discovered my passion for applying what I know about the human body to assist people to live the best life they can. My name is David and I’m a penultimate year, Graduate Entry Medical Student at the University of St. Andrews and the University of Dundee (ScotGEM). My previous degree was in Immunology and Pharmacology which I graduated from with first class honours, as well as the British Society of Immunology Undergraduate Prize.

I am currently on a longitudinal integrated clerkship (LIC) year in the south of Scotland and spend half of my week consulting and learning in GP and the other half in secondary care. On my days off I work in community Pharmacy where I have been for a number of years.

Outside of studies, I love the outdoors – I’m often grilling on the BBQ or kayaking!

I’m Hamza. Currently, I am in the Graduate Entry Medicine program at the University of Nottingham. I did my undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Queen Mary University of London. Thus I am very strong in Chemistry tuition specifically.

Reading Chemistry means I have a very strong understanding of the fundamental Chemistry and Physics concepts required for IB and A-Level examinations.
My progress in medicine thus far has reinforced my understanding of Biology as well.
My experience tutoring has worked to familiarise me with the concepts taught in the syllabus, as well as the provided invaluable experience in how to breakdown and explain complicated topics.

I have tutored science for 5 years at a tuition centre in London. I love tutoring as I find it a very rewarding profession! I love science and I like to pass on my enthusiasm for science to my students.

Hi! I can offer help with the GAMSAT, GCSE English and Spanish and also the HPAT if needed. I did my undergraduate in UCD in English with a specialisation in Spanish.
GAMSAT:
Despite not having a science background, I managed to raise my section 3 score by 15 points over two sittings, which, along with my high section 1 and 2 scores, was enough for entrance to medical school in Ireland. I sat the GAMSAT twice myself. I used a wide variety of resources and tried a few different study styles and approaches to the exam. I have a way of approaching each question which worked for myself and a friend who I tutored, and which will hopefully work for you! I have an approach to section 2 that I haven’t heard from anyone else but which appears to work. I also know a lot of people who sat the GAMSAT and I can tell you the various approaches to section 2 I heard. I know how frustrating GAMSAT can be so I really hope I can provide some insight into the exam and help you get into medical school! I’m currently in UL so if anyone is interested in going there I can answer any questions you have!

GCSE Spanish/English:
Along with my undergraduate I lived in Spain every summer between the ages of 11 and 17 so I can definitely help you out if you’re looking for a Spanish tutor! I also have some experience teaching a foreign language as I teach English to children at weekends.
