CASPER Tutors : 1-1 CASPER Preparation

Hello, I’m Ann 🙂 I am a third year medical student at the University of Sheffield. I undertook a gap year abroad and saw how medicine differs between countries and found it very eye opening. I am familiar with and enjoy tutoring different entrance exams like CASPER and the UCAT as well as Biology, EPQ and Psychology at A-level and a variety of GCSE subjects. I have also successfully completed entrance exams for medical schools in Bulgaria so have experience with those tests and can help with that too. I have been where you are and understand how stressful these different exams can be so I am here to help! My teaching style is very interactive and student based so you can get eveything you need from session. The goal is to make lessons informative and useful but also enjoyable and give you a better understanding about your chosen subject.

Hello, I’m Anahita, a third-year medical student at Anglia Ruskin University with experience helping students receive medical school offers. For your Medicine Interview MMI preparation, I can support you with structured answer templates, realistic mock interviews and constructive feedback. I can share with you practical advice, personal experience and useful tips, while also giving you someone supportive to practise with so you can become more confident, clear and prepared for each station.

For your UCAT preparation, I can help you work through targeted practice questions, improve your timing and build confidence across each section. I will help you recognise common question types, develop effective strategies and focus on the areas you find most challenging, so that you can make progress and feel fully prepared for the exam.

I am a graduate of Flinders University from its Doctor of Medicine program, currently enrolled in my Doctor of Philosophy. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.

I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.

The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.

I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well
