Hello! My name is Joyous, and I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential through structured learning and encouragement. I am currently pursuing my MBA at the University of Oxford and previously completed the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification as the youngest graduate in Southeast Asia. Alongside my professional career in finance and strategy, I have over eight years of experience teaching and mentoring students in both academic subjects and personal development. I also teach Business at an Oxford summer school, where I work with international students to develop their academic skills, critical thinking, and confidence. My approach combines subject knowledge with practical study strategies, ensuring students not only master content but also build confidence and independence in learning. Dr Clement Twumasi is a Senior Medical Statistician at Oxford University Nuffield Department of Medicine. He previously worked at Clinical Trials Statistician at Imperial College London and held a postdoctorate in Biostatistics at the University of Oxford Statistics Department. He earned a PhD in Mathematics from Cardiff University in 2021 as a Vice Chancellor’s PhD Scholar, focusing on mathematical and stochastic models for biological systems. He completed his MPhil in Statistics from the University of Ghana & obtained a 4.0/4.0 GPA. His MPhil/master thesis was awarded the best research in mathematics in 2018 among all universities in Ghana. Dr Twumasi has outstanding academic track record within & outside the UK. He is also an academic reviewer for top Q1 high-impact Scopus journals. This includes the International Journal of Forecasting, PLOS One Journal, and PLOS Computational Biology Journal, where he reviews papers on time-series predictions using state-of-the-art time series models and machine learning techniques (with specific applications to blood supply chain) as well as works on mathematical biology/infectious disease modelling. He has a robust background in mathematics and statistics, with a wide range of mathematical modelling and computational expertise across diverse application areas.

I have 30+ years of experience in tutoring in parallel to my career as an engineer and a business consultant. As I am not traveling anymore, I can use these assets to help students in both tutoring and making assignments from a distance besides my consulting work. I am based in Brussels.
Most of my students come to me from word of mouth since my hit rate is quite high: they get quite quickly autonomous, needing much fewer sessions than with a purely academic tutor. My explanations are always based on daily life applications, as I have been using most topics in my professional career (I started as a basic nuclear engineer).
For Business Studies, I also use my broad experience as a business consultant: I still coach and train Engineers into Business & Sales engineers with a few Scandinavian technical companies since 1995.
