Hi, my name is Ips. I’m an undergraduate Biomedical Science student from the UK.

I am creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and manage relationships.

I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual looking to develop my academic skills in the professional world of healthcare and science. I am also a keen learner in all fields and aspects. Further to add, I am adept at public speaking and am receptive to change, and willing to learn and take on board exciting challenges.

I like writing and have written several unpublished short books and articles. Aside from my love of traveling, I also enjoy playing sports and reading. If I’m missing, then it’s best to look for me in the kitchen whipping together a tasty meal or punching the bag at my gym for the extra pump of endorphins and dopamine.

I am Sameer Siddiqui, a quantitative researcher with five years of professional experience in Python engineering, data pipelines, and applied machine learning. Currently, I am pursuing my MSc in Quantitative Finance at the University of Glasgow, where I focus on stochastic calculus, derivatives pricing, portfolio theory, and quantitative optimisation. My background combines technical depth with financial expertise, having built and deployed 100+ real-time data pipelines, automated reporting systems, and machine learning models in Azure Kubernetes Service to improve efficiency and decision-making. I have also developed trading algorithms, backtested strategies, and conducted risk analysis, strengthening my foundation in financial engineering. With hands-on expertise across Python, SQL, and deep learning frameworks, I thrive at the intersection of technology and finance, driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and a passion for markets.

I have over 25 years of experience as a teacher and course leader at a further education college in Leeds, northern England. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of subjects across ICT, Programming, and Games Development courses – in particular computer languages and game engines. I also have extensive experience in web programming, database development, and general computer skills instruction.
In recent years, I have played a key role in the development and delivery of the T Level Digital Software Development course, teaching Python, software design, and software testing. I have also developed new units for the Access to higher education course that are now used by colleges nationally.
My responsibilities have included providing pastoral support to students, managing courses, ensuring quality assurance and verification standards, designing curricula, and interviewing prospective staff and students.

I recently graduated with a BSc Computer Science (Hons) degree with First Class Honors. I am currently interviewing with companies to find the right fit for me and have decided to become a tutor to teach people about computers. I am an extremely passionate individual when it comes to computing and have been programming for 5+ years. I generally work in Web development, AI and mobile development and also embedded systems to some extent which include ESP32 boards and Raspberry PI’s. I am currently working on my projects and would love to show them to you if you’re interested so you can learn more about my skills and how I can better suit you. Besides computers, I love playing sports mainly cricket and badminton. I like DJing even though I’m not very good at it and my friends hate the noise. I am planning to pursue a master’s in AI in the future.
