About Me

Hi! I’m Aishwarya – your enthusiastic and friendly science tutor, here to make learning exciting and meaningful.

I’ve always believed that curiosity is the first step to brilliance—and my academic journey is proof of that! I graduated top of my class in high school, where I developed a deep passion for biology and chemistry. This drive led me to complete a Bachelor of Science with distinction in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Chemistry, followed by a Master of Science in Forensic Science from Osmania University, one of India’s premier institutions.

Throughout my academic career, I’ve received multiple awards for academic excellence and leadership. I was honored as the Best Student in Microbiology during my undergraduate studies and proudly represented my college in national competitions. I also qualified India’s prestigious National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectureship, demonstrating my deep subject knowledge and communication skills.

My postgraduate journey involved real-world research, including work at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-IICT), where I contributed to advanced projects in toxicology, analytical chemistry, and nanotechnology. I also published a first-author peer-reviewed article in the internationally renowned ACS Applied Biomaterials Journal.

With experience teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, I’m not just passionate about science—I’m passionate about helping YOU understand it in a way that feels clear, engaging, and fun. Whether you’re aiming for exam success or looking to boost your confidence in science, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Let’s unlock your potential together—book a session with me and let’s start learning!

My teaching style

I believe science should be understood, not memorized—and I make that happen by connecting every concept to real-life experiences. When students see how science applies to their everyday world, it becomes easier to remember and far more exciting to learn.

I begin each lesson by asking a few simple questions to spark curiosity and get students thinking. This sets the stage for deeper learning. As we go through the topic, I make sure to address doubts immediately, so confusion doesn’t carry over to the next class. The following day, I always start with a quick recap—not just of what we learned, but why it matters and how it fits into the bigger picture. I help students understand that science is like a chain: each concept links to the next, so building a strong foundation is key.

Above all, my goal is to make students feel that science is easy, logical, and fascinating—and that with the right support, they can master it confidently. I focus on ensuring every student walks away with clarity, not confusion.

My past experience

I have over a year of work experience as a lecturer of both undergraduate and postgraduate students in India, particularly in the fields of Biochemistry, and Forensic Science. My roles have included both theoretical instruction and practical laboratory supervision.

At Osmania University, I worked as a Guest Lecturer in Forensic Science, where I taught students the theoretical and practical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analyses of organic and inorganic materials. I have taught theoretical and practical sessions focusing on the detection of alcohol, narcotics, and psychotropic substances, ensuring that students not only understood the procedures but also the scientific reasoning behind them.

Before that, I served as an Assistant Professor at St. Pious X Degree & PG College, where I taught modules on biomolecules, enzymology, and molecular biology to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. I also designed and supervised lab experiments for over 60 students, creating an engaging environment where theory met hands-on learning.

One of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey has been the feedback from students. Many of them have told me that I made biochemistry easy to understand—a subject they often found intimidating before. They’ve consistently shared how much they enjoyed my classes, appreciated the clarity I brought to complex topics, and felt more confident in their understanding of the subject.

These experiences have shaped my student-focused, curiosity-driven teaching style, where my goal is to ensure that every learner feels science is not only approachable but also exciting.

My Proudest Achievements

One of my proudest academic achievements is qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professorship, conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India. This prestigious examination is a highly competitive, national-level certification that evaluates candidates for their suitability to teach at the university level.

Qualifying NET not only affirmed my deep understanding of forensic science and related subjects, but it also recognised my ability to teach and engage students at a higher education level. It marked a significant milestone in my journey as an educator and strengthened my confidence to pursue academic roles with greater responsibility.

This achievement represents my dedication to continuous learning, academic excellence, and my commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists and learners.
