4About Me
I am a maths graduate from Oxford, now currently pursuing a Master’s Degree. My speciality lies in tutoring Maths and Further Maths A-level, as well as giving mock interviews in Maths/Computer science and Engineering or giving personal statement advice. I have 5 years of tutoring experience and have given over 20 mock interviews in the past 2 years. I am eager to give all my students the chance to enjoy and excel in their studies!
I first started tutoring while I was in sixth form, teaching primary school children. Since then I have managed to develop my teaching technique, and refine it to suit the needs of the student I am teaching. Every child is different, and I believe there is always a way to engage and improve their academics. I am very welcoming and understanding, and all my students have felt very comfortable with me.
My teaching style
For A-level tutoring, I initially go over content to consolidate a student’s knowledge. I like to ask the student many questions to keep them involved and to ensure they are grasping content. Then I mainly like to focus on getting the student to try exam questions, giving them exam tips and guidance when needed.
