11About Me
I am an upcoming Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Nottingham (april cohort) who has attended vet school interviews at the RVC, UCLan, Nottingham and Liverpool. I received offers from UCLan and Nottingham after taking a gap year, in which I am currently working at a local small animal practice.
I achieved A*AA in my A-levels with an A* in psychology and A’s in Chemistry and Biology. ln my GCSEs, I obtained all grades 7-9 (A/A* equivalent) in my GCSEs, obtaining all 8s in science subjects. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE students in mainly Chemistry and Biology but also Physic. I am also very happy coaching AS and A-level psychology students. For all subjects, I go through note-taking techniques, content as well as exam preparation through practice questions and paper/interview specific guidance.
My teaching style
I go through the content and key points with the student before going through a few practice questions and allowing the student to answer by themselves. I then explain what they could have done better and go through the correct/better answer.
My past experience
I have previously tutored GCSE students as well as having worked as a trampoline coach for 5 years with children aged 8-15
My Proudest Achievements
Getting into my dream vet school and also competing at national level for trampoline gymnastics
