Harpreet
About Me
Hi, I’m Harpreet, a law graduate with a genuine passion for education and helping students reach their full potential. I understand that every student learns differently, and I believe that the key to successful tutoring is taking the time to understand the individual. From our first session, I focus on building a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding at their own pace.
I am friendly, patient and highly approachable, and I aim to make each session both engaging and structured. I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s needs; whether that means breaking down complex concepts into simple steps, using real world examples or providing clear guidance and practice to strengthen exam technique. I place strong emphasis on building confidence alongside subject knowledge, as I know how much confidence impacts performance.
Through my academic and professional experience, I have developed strong communication and mentoring skills, regularly explaining complex ideas clearly and tailoring my approach to different individuals. I am organised, reliable and committed to helping students achieve the best possible outcomes. Whether a student needs academic support, exam preparation or help building confidence in their abilities, I am dedicated to supporting them every step of the way.
My teaching style
My teaching style is supportive, adaptable and student focused. I take time to understand how each student learns best and tailor sessions accordingly, whether that involves visual explanations, discussion based learning or structured practice. I encourage questions, build confidence gradually and create a calm, positive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My aim is always to help students truly understand the subject, not just memorise content.
My past experience
I have experience supporting others through mentoring, academic guidance and structured explanations of complex material. Through my legal studies and professional roles, I regularly break down difficult concepts, explain them clearly and adapt my communication style depending on the individual. I also have experience providing constructive feedback and encouragement, helping learners build both understanding and confidence over time.
My Proudest Achievements
Completing my law degree and currently undertaking my Law PhD, developing strong communication, analytical and mentoring skills, and supporting others through complex academic and professional challenges. I am particularly proud of my ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and help others gain confidence in their own abilities.
