About Me
Preparing for the UCAT can feel overwhelming, but with the right approach, it’s an opportunity to demonstrate your potential. As a fourth-year medical student who achieved seven grade 9s at GCSE and scored in the top 20% of UCAT candidates (including 700+ in Abstract Reasoning), I’ve developed strategies that balance efficiency with accuracy.
Having recently navigated the exam successfully, I understand both its technical demands and the stress that comes with it. My focus is on building your confidence through structured practice, tailored feedback, and clear explanations of question patterns. Whether you’re just beginning your preparation or looking to refine specific sections, I can help identify strengths to build upon and areas needing attention.
Beyond just teaching the material, I aim to provide perspective on managing time effectively during the test and maintaining composure under pressure—skills that serve students well both in the UCAT and throughout medical school applications. My approach is practical, evidence-based, and adapted to individual learning styles.
If you’re seeking guidance from someone who’s been through the process and can offer actionable advice, I’d be happy to support your preparation.
My teaching style
My teaching style is focused on active learning—breaking down UCAT strategies through worked examples, timed drills, and personalised feedback. I emphasize pattern recognition (especially in Abstract Reasoning) and stress-management techniques, adapting to your strengths while targeting weaknesses efficiently. Practical, patient, and exam-focused.
