About Me

I am a Graduate Cambridge Medical student and qualified pharmacist interested in teaching Chemistry, Biology, English at all levels. In addition to assisting in other Science, Maths at GCSE level, entrance exam and interview preparation.
Being a health professional, I possess many transferable skills relevant to teaching and tutoring. I have strong critical thinking abilities that allow me to break down complex materials into clear and understandable concepts. I often supervise trainee staff members and lead clinical teaching seminars, where I teach ward-based experiences and support pre-registration pharmacy students in achieving their competencies in preparation for their qualification exams.
I am trained to communicate medical concepts and challenging academic materials effectively to colleagues, patients, and team leads. I actively listen to understand how I can adjust my teaching methods to suit individual learning needs. I pay close attention to detail, both in dispensing medication and in upholding ethical standards within healthcare and educational settings. Therefore, I understand the importance of organisation, time management, and goal setting in tracking students’ educational development and planning lessons efficiently.
As a graduate student I understand challenges of preparing for exams. So, consider me a tool making teaching more accessible and engaging. I believe learning should feel empowering, not intimidating. My goal is to help you think more, ask better questions, and become confidence.

My teaching style

I prefer to use a lot of visual aids to help illustrate teaching materials and help breakdown learning material. However, my standard teaching structure is to start with an introduction to see what the student knows, lay out objectives, explore the learning materials, with exam style questions and extended content for higher achieving students.
