Bailey
About Me
Hi I’m Bailey, a 4th year medic at Leicester medical school. I have a real passion for teaching and helping others achieve what they thought they couldn’t. I also love seeing the transformation in a tutees confidence through their successes in exams. I’m also one to not believe in failure; you either win or learn something from it. This will teach you how to properly reflect and will be a building block for reflective practice, this is something they’ll expect of you in medical school. A little about me, I have strong interests in advancing medical technology and how this will impact patient care in years to come. I have a real drive for humanitarian work and helping reduce healthcare inequalities across the globe. Outside of medicine, I love going to pub quizzes, going to historic places, going to museums and watching the football.
My teaching style
I take a very individualistic approach to teaching, I like to get to know you snd how you prefer to learn. This is so I can tailor my approach to make sessions as effective as possible. If you haven’t been able to find a method that suits you, we can discuss this and help you do this. Learning is only part of the battle. I will also help with exam technique and revision technique oriented sessions to help make exams a breeze.
My past experience
I have tutored people both in my own cohort and in other cohorts to help with A level biology and chemistry.
I am also a peer teaching lead for my medical schools revision society, and a tutor for younger students in my medical school.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is the fact I helped others gain the university places they deserved through my extra help sessions that I held for A level biology and chemistry.
