1About Me
2nd Year optometry student at The University of Manchester. I hope to help aspiring optometry students go to the university of their choice. I am more than happy to help with Personal Statements, and interview practice. With 5/5 offers in optometry I believe I am well equipped to help you!
Having taught before in various different scenarios, I know the best way to learn is by doing! Practicing interviews, and reviewing personal statements will tremendously help with your confidence and also help you gain skills you will take across your entire life as an optometrist!
I will also be able to help prepare for university and to jumpstart your career. I would like to share some tips with gainig work experience, and how this will help you with CLIP placements. Getting started early will put you ahead of the competition!
My teaching style
I plan to tailor lessons to the students. Evaluating their strengths and weaknesses, and to be able to display their best selves in an interview. Having worked with the admissions tutors at UOM, I know what they are looking for in a personal statement and what we lecturer’s are looking for in an interview.
My past experience
I have taught with Tutor The Nation? Change Your Mind, and as a mentor at school for A-level students.
My Proudest Achievements
Becoming a Flight commander in the RAF section of the Combined Cadet Force and becoming the president of my Optometry Society at UOM.
