Hello! I’m Serena and I’m a second-year dental student at the University of Bristol. When I sat my UCAT I achieved an overall score of 2840 and SJT Band 1. I achieved all A*’s at A-level in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology and achieved all A’s all A/A*’s in my GCSEs. I received offers from Bristol, King’s College London, Liverpool, and Birmingham and therefore, I can give specific advice regarding their application processes. I am also very happy to answer any questions regarding personal statements, interviews, and what dental school is like in general. I understand firsthand just how difficult this process is and am here to support you through it however you need. I can’t wait to help you reach your full potential and achieve your dreams at medical or dental school! I hope to meet you soon!
My teaching style
My teaching style is very much student-focused. I base the way I teach on the way that my students find easiest to learn from. This can be anything from a more question and answer-based approach to reviewing the content for as long as necessary. I will help you find the best approach for you!
My past experience
I have a lot of experience with tutoring and have been doing it for 3 years in different subjects with different age groups. In holidays I work full time and in the school year, I am part-time.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement would have to be getting into dental school as it is an incredibly difficult process that requires a lot of determination. I’m so happy that I made it to this point and I can’t wait to get you there too!
