Eve
About Me
Hello, my name is Eve. I am a medical student at the University of Cambridge. I have had previous tutoring experience when I was tutor for GCSE maths students with a range of abilities, so I’ve learnt to be able to adapt to the capabilities and needs of the individual student. I really like to focus on active learning and active recall which are time effiecient techniques that I have found the most useful and have help me achieve 10 grade 9’s at GCSE and 4A*’s at A-level. I have also sat both the UCAT and BMAT exams, scoring in the top 2%. So, I’ve learnt lots of tips that aren’t already available on the internet that I can share to help you excel in those exams too. I have experienced both the traditional Oxbridge panel interviews and MMI interviews so I am able to give you advice on how to handle the different question style.
I really enjoyed studying science at both school and college and now especially like learning anatomy and physiology. Alongside my studies, I enjoy sewing, cycling around the city of Cambridge and playing the piano.
My teaching style
I like to focus on teaching time efficient techniques to aid with further studying outside of the tuition. I am also flexible and willing to follow your lead but can also help structure your learning. Having taken many past exams I have learnt the most effective methods of understanding, learning and revising for each subject which I can share with you to help get the most out of the tuition and your independent study time.
