Pranavi
About Me
Hi I’m Pranavi, and I’m excited to be your tutor at Medic Mind! I am an empathetic individual who has a deep passion for medical education. Currently, I have got an offer for A101 Graduate Entry Medicine Programme at the University of Nottingham and awaiting other offers.
I have gone through 2 cycles of applying to medicine, and I understand how this process is lonely at times. I understand the challenges of getting into medicine and I understand how important it is to have a caring, and empathetic person who will be with you every step of the way.
I am always a phone call/ text away and will be with you every step of the journey.
Here are some things I can help with:
– Strategically applying for medicine programs to maximise a chance of an offer – have received 4 interviews in this cycle
– Interview practice (have experience for MMIs & panel interviews as well as how to adapt performance for online interviews.
– Experience with GEM interviews which are of a higher standard than undergrad interviews
– Proficient in CASPER test – 4th quartile in CASPER test
– Strong performance in GAMSAT & UCAT especially Verbal reasoning & Section I & II in GAMSAT
My teaching style
My approach to teaching is highly structured (with a pre-prepared lesson plan tailored to my tutee’s needs) but adaptable. I want to make sure that my student is pushed – but also has a solid support system. I am approachable and feel I break down abstract concepts into clear, logical steps.
