Miles
About Me
Hello! My name is Miles and I am a published writer and first-class English Literature student at the University of York. I’ve recently begun tutoring for English Literature A level, working on revision skills and exam technique. With excellent attendance and punctuality rates alongside high availability, I am dedicated to helping students improve both their grades and their confidence entering exams. Though I originally struggled with English in lower school, during my A Levels I worked to restructure my learning and improve my essay skills, drastically improving my grade up to an A*. Since starting university, I have consistently been awarded first-class grades for my essays. In my tutoring I can guide students to learn the same approach through engaging and friendly lessons in English Language and Literature GCSE, and English Literature A Level.
My teaching style
I typically engage in a creative and visual teaching style with well-structured lesson plans that are engaging and productive. No two students learn the same way, and my teaching style reflects this through a highly adaptive and personalised approach.
My past experience
I have recent and ongoing experience with A Level English Literature tutoring.
