4About Me
Hi! I’m Jack! I’m incredibly enthusiastic over anything maths or computer science, I have a wide range of interests in academia and computing, currently I am a student at UEA who spends a lot of his time external to studying working on web applications using tools such as SvelteKit, Typescript, Tailwind and SupaBase. Outside of web applications, I am learning to develop video games in C++ using a mixture of OpenGL and SDL2! I am always keen to learn new skills and hear about things my students are passionate about as it has lead me to discover new interests and areas of maths and computing I had never heard of before! My teaching style
I like to adapt my teaching to each student, but I love to teach maths in a way that requires you to remember as little as possible! (yes it can be done!). I try to give as many examples as possible and build you to be able to tackle complex problems on your own. In computing I try to teach by collaborating on projects that we can hand pick in advance to try and build something cool, and often times, I end up learning something on the way! 🙂
My past experience
I have been tutoring for close to 3 years, I have worked with a variety of students from varying backgrounds and experience and have managed to consistently deliver the results they strive for!
My Proudest Achievements
I am currently in the process of designing the infrastructure for a company to run all of its operations through, progress is great and I can’t wait to see the end result!
