17About Me
Promoting education of the highest quality and inspiring the leaders of tomorrow is a great passion of mine. Combine with this my own inherent fascination with the sciences and Medicine, as well as my strong reputation and aptitude for teaching and you will see that I am primed to encourage and facilitate the success of my students.
In addition to my natural charisma, my refined interpersonal and communication skills are invaluable assets to my portfolio. Previous students of mine have traversed their respective courses with relative ease under my guidance, owing in part to my thorough explanations of concepts. Pair my outstanding grades at both GCSE (all 9s) and A-level (all A*s) with my infectiously radiant enthusiasm and relatability, and you have the makings of a tutor whose students have a bright future.
In terms of my areas of expertise, I offer bespoke tutoring services for the sciences right from KS3 all the way up to A-level and everything in between, with special interests in Biology and Chemistry. This is in addition to some other services, such as those involved with medical school admissions as well as preparation for their respective interviews.
My teaching style
My aim as a tutor is to ensure that you not only are able to memorise your course material, but thoroughly understand it too and as such be able to practically apply your knowledge to exam-style questions.
The thorough, relatable and easy-to-understand explanations of scientific concepts using a variety of resources are the hallmark of my teaching, not to mention that I regularly go the extra mile to provide high-quality exam-style practice in my lessons. I understand that your grade is what means the most to you as a student, and so this is to prime my students to do well in exactly that; their exams!
My past experience
Previously, my tutoring career has involved teaching and mentoring of younger students in my school, as well as having a growing portfolio of private work in the tutoring industry.
My Proudest Achievements
Further to some of the more academic achievement labels you will have seen on my profile, I am a very well-rounded individual with interests in sports, music, finance and so much more.
I have previously played county cricket and continue to play regularly at the semi-professional level, with years of experience as captain. I also am an equivalent of Grade 4 in playing the Tabla, an Indian percussion instrument.
These achievements (along with my academic ones) are testament to my determination, perseverance and hard work, qualities which I look to further instil in every single one of my students.
