25About Me
Hi! My name is Frances Perez and I’m a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge, with a degree in Architecture (Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Architecture). I graduated with an Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) from Cambridge, and prior to that, I graduated from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program with a 44/45 (my Higher Levels included Physics, Mathematics Analysis and Approaches, Visual Arts; whereas my Standard Levels included Psychology, English Literature, and Spanish AB Initio). I have migrated quite a bit, and thus have had the privilege to experience a plethora of cultures- thus, I think myself to be very open-minded and adaptable. I am an enthusiastic, design-focused individual, with a passion for anything design and architecture related, and I thoroughly enjoy helping students reach their full potential with my resources and experience.
My teaching style
My teaching style can be a hybrid, flexible combination of approaches, ranging from tutor-led to student-led, whereby I will allow the student to identify a format comfortable with them. Depending on the subject, I will provide mock tests/interviews for the student to practise, identify any mistakes, and walk them through the process of the correct answers. In terms of interview guidance, I will review interview answers, personal statements, and provide advice to maximise their potential of a successful university application.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement would be achieving a Jardine Scholarship to attend the University of Cambridge, after having successfully received an offer from both the university and Jardine.
