About Me
Hello there, are you looking for a tutor that is going to help you achieve the best you can? Then look no further. I am Emre Pasaogullari and allow me to introduce myself. I am a second year student at Exeter College, Oxford reading Physics. I have also received offers from Durham University, University of Bath and University of Warwick. After my GCSEs I went to Greenshaw High School and achieved A*A*A*A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Turkish and EPQ in Superconductivity theory and applications.
I am a dedicated and ambitious student who is excited to share my knowledge and help others succeed. If you’re looking for a tutor who can provide a unique perspective and a deep understanding of STEM subjects, I am the perfect fit for you. My strong background in STEM subjects, combined with my passion for learning, allows me to break down complex concepts and explain them in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Furthermore, my love music and chess also allows me to think critically and creatively which I believe will be beneficial in helping students understand and solve problems. So if you’re looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic tutor to help you succeed, don’t hesitate to contact me.
My teaching style
Practice makes perfect. Therefore my teaching style is firstly going over the material, then moving on to practice questions and past papers if possible. I believe this is the best way to learn for subjects like Maths and Physics. Furthermore, I also make use of explaining topics with analogies which helps me simplify complex concepts.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is being selected to the University of Oxford Basketball team, where I get to be a part of a club that is much bigger than any individual that makes it up. Getting involved here, playing basketball, helping the other teams in the club and making good friends here with my teammates and my coaches is truly fulfilling. Furthermore, thinking about the fact that everyone on the team does fantastic things academically also keeps me motivated and inspired.
