3About Me
I have recently qualified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant with CIMA with a Bachelors’ degree and Masters degree in accounting. Along my journey I have enjoyed sharing knowledge with fellow students and have a passion for teaching. With my 9 years of working experience in the accounting and finance field I have attained knowledge in the transport & logistics sector, insurance sector and have worked at a university. This has given me exposure and equips me with adequate knowledge and experience which I am eager to impart to my prospective students. From as early as high school I have been commended for my ability to break down and simplify complicated concepts and being able to provide explanations that are easy to grasp and understand. Tutoring fulfills me and aids in employing my skills and adding value to students’ academic journeys!
My teaching style
When teaching there are times where I demonstrate for instance giving a worked example especially when the topic or subject is new. Asking questions and getting responses also helps students to think on their feet, stimulates the brain and participate in learning. I encourage students to complete tasks especially for assessment of progress and identification of problem areas for further assistance.
My past experience
Yes, I used to tutor fellow students informally while at university. I have successfully tutored CIMA students who were a few levels behind me and they passed with flying colors.
My Proudest Achievements
Excelling at very challenging CIMA exams and passing all examinations in just over a year.
