About Me
Hi, I am Atel Rassoli, a 19-year-old first-year Law (Jurisprudence) undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I offer accessible and tailored tutoring designed around each individual student’s needs, focusing on maximising performance through personalised strategies and adaptive teaching. With a strong academic background — 9 As and 2 As at GCSE, AAAA at AS Level, and AAA at A Level — I have since completed multiple internships in the commercial legal sector. I have supported students through university entrance exams, interview preparation, and competitive applications, with successful offers and scholarships from institutions including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, KCL, Warwick, and Bristol. I am genuinely excited to help you fulfil your academic potential, and it is always deeply rewarding to play a part in facilitating students to achieve their goals.
My teaching style
My teaching style is adaptive, personalised, and performance-driven. I prioritise understanding each student’s unique learning style, then tailor lessons to target their strengths and address areas for growth. Whether preparing for exams, interviews, or coursework, I break down complex ideas into accessible, manageable parts, helping students build both confidence and mastery. I focus on developing analytical thinking, exam technique, and independent learning skills. Ultimately, my approach is about empowering students to take ownership of their learning and reach their full academic potential through structured guidance, consistent feedback, and encouragement.
My past experience
Yes — I have provided extensive academic support across a range of subjects, especially law, philosophy, and humanities. I have helped students at GCSE, A Level, and university level with subject content, exam technique, personal statements, Oxbridge admissions (including the LNAT and interviews), and legal work experience applications. I tailor each session to the individual, adapting teaching styles and materials to suit each student’s goals and learning methods. I have supported students who have gone on to receive offers and scholarships from top universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, and more.
My Proudest Achievements
Some of my proudest achievements include securing a place to study Law at the University of Oxford, supporting multiple students in gaining offers from top universities (including Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions), and completing competitive legal insight schemes with elite commercial law firms such as Slaughter and May and Clifford Chance. I am also proud of co-founding a tutoring initiative that helps underrepresented students succeed in university applications, and of maintaining strong academic performance while balancing leadership, mentoring, and extracurricular commitments.
