10About Me
Hi I’m Niko! I’m a current third year Film and English student at the University of Southampton. I studied English Literature, Psychology, Sociology and Biology at A-Level and achieved A*AAA (during Covid no-less!). I also achieved 10 GCSEs with 8 of those being A*s. I would love to work with you to ensure you have the best chance at educational achievement!
At university, I have been commended for the second highest 2nd year mark across humanities subjects, and am truly passionate about my work. I have a great love for education and aim to complete a Masters and PhD to become a lecturer in my field.
I tutoring in a number of fields, specifically up to A-Level standard English Literature, Psychology and Sociology, as well as university standard Film Studies.
There are many things which can cause difficulties achieving where an individual is truly capable of achieving, but I believe that everyone has a right to have effort put into their success. You can do this!
My teaching style
I am a very patient teacher. I understand that everyone’s brain works differently, and a variety of factors may be barriers to educational achievement. Therefore, I constantly adjust and finetune the way I teach and interact with a student in order for them to gain the best result.
My past experience
I have experience tutoring peers throughout every stage of my education, and continue to do so at university. I am also taking a module on teaching at university.
My Proudest Achievements
I am most proud of overcoming personal challenges and accepting my differences in order to become a really strong and high-achieving university student.
