9About Me
Hi, my name is Nada, I’m a 4th year dental student at the University of Leeds and I would love to help you succeed in your journey into medical/dental school.
I sat my UCAT, BMAT and interviews in 2020 and secured a place the University of Leeds after achieving A Level grades of A*A*A. I have a background in English writing so my areas of expertise lie in Personal Statement writing, as well as UCAT, BMAT and interview.
As well as sitting the MMIs in 2020, I have also been part of the interviewing process myself, so I can offer you the examiner perspective which will help improve your answers.
Furthermore, being in my 4th year means I have a good insight of what dental school is actually like and what the clinical tutors (who are likely to be the ones interviewing you) are looking for in candidates.
My hope is that I can help you present the best parts of yourself to the team examining you. I believe that with a good understanding of what dentistry really is and with a lot of constructive practice you can secure your place at dental school.
My teaching style
I have found that practice + constructive criticism is the key to tackling the interview. I want you to feel the most prepared for the MMI/panel interview and the absolute best way to do that is to practise, practise, practise. When I first started practising the MMI, I had a lot of problems, but with the right mentor and a lot of practice, I was able to iron out all the kinks and walk into the interview feeling confident.
