Hi! I’m Fin, an MA student in International Relations at King’s College London. In 2025 I graduated from Girton College, Cambridge with First Class Honours with Distinction, and I’d be delighted to help you with any language and/or Oxbridge application needs that you may have :).

During my Year Abroad I had the opportunity to work hundreds of hours as an English teacher in Argentina, instructing children aged 8-18 in schools and institutes across the country. I aim to combine the lessons learned during this hands-on classroom work with my personal experience undertaking 11+, GCSE, A-level and Oxbridge entrance assessments over the last 11 years.

Language Tutoring

Learning languages is a true passion for me. I’m very well-acquainted with Spanish and Portuguese in particular, speaking both to a C2 level. I’d be thrilled to assist you with either language, from beginner right up to final-year degree level. I’m also a confident C1 speaker of French and Italian, and can provide tutoring up to A-level ability in these languages. As well as help solidifying grammar principles and retaining vocabulary, I offer guided listening and speaking practice to those wishing to brush up on these lesser-practised and often rather intimidating aspects of language examinations.

Oxbridge applications

As a Cambridge graduate I’m well aware of the complexities and anxiety inherent to the Oxbridge application process. I’m here to provide tailored advice and support based on my own experience of writing Personal Statements, taking entrance exams such as the MLAT and being interviewed by intimidating academics.
